    I just found you by accident and love your video!❤ it’s so easy to understand and for those of us who have a lot of anxiety about not knowing how to do something , it’s very soothing and helpful❤. I would love it if you also had the text, so that I could download and refer to it( if I forget🙄) . Just a suggestion for your future tutorials. Thanks!!!💐🤗

    I’m so glad that I found your tutorials because you are the best! All problems that come up during the workflow are presented on your channel. I have not found it anywhere else! Just the problem of degrouping has been awful!
    A big problem I have is being able to select an object (for example apple) and be able to paint outside the apple without painting over the apple. Clipping Mask only offers to paint inside the object but not outside the object. Have I explained well what I mean?

    • @thedoodleworks
      @thedoodleworks  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great to hear! Try using the selection tool and invert the selection. i have an example in the selection tool tutorial if you need more help let me know. thank you so much... you're awesome!

    I am wondering about these different copying and pasting techniques, if they still suffer a bit with sharpness of line. In other tutorials/demos about duplicating (but not with the selection tools like here) they’ve commented about this problem....

    • @thedoodleworks
      @thedoodleworks  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Of all things or techniques that can soften an outline…resizing is the worst. Also applying a move can create some softness too.
      And I think most of us do that after we either copy and paste or duplicate an image.
      Now there are ways to sharpen your outlines I made a small video about that.
      Anyway, I hope this is helpful 🙂

    Thank you for your videos, Hector. Have anything for the level below beginner? I've played with procreate (not an artist) but have not been able to figure out some things, no matter how many tutorials I watch. I used ms paint when I was working on a pc but since switching to Mac, I'm lost.

    Can you copy/paste any part of your creation without it opening up additional layers? I just want to copy then paste on the same layer, no duplicate layers or anything like that...

    • @thedoodleworks
      @thedoodleworks  ปีที่แล้ว

      When you use the copy function… it will only paste to a new layer. Maybe paste then merge??? I hope this helps.

    • @KittyMontrealPar
      @KittyMontrealPar 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Select it, then move it with cursor(the small arrow) no need to make another layer

  • @nahian.fariha

    It creates a whole new layer while copy-pasting it. But how to copy an object and then place it in another layer I am working on?

    • @thedoodleworks
      @thedoodleworks  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, if you want to copy and place it in another layer… try this
      1. Make a SELECTION then CUT AND PASTE, cuts out the selection in another layer.
      2. The other is make a SELECTION then COPY, then create a NEW LAYER, then PASTE.
      I hope this helps
