Very good, nice to see proper growlers in hub centre, hard to source now, they are just a flat disc today. Once agin great tour of the wheel arch and bits
I always Enjoy Watching this "English Gentleman" turning nuts & bolts & getting dirty Working on His Jag... Hi again, Ron from Florida here, I don't own a XK8 but may someday, as I sure like them...I watch cause You always have some good tips & pointers that pertain to any Car...It'll have to be Red or My Wife won't get behind me getting it, All have been since I Married Her are Red Cars, We are on Our 2nd Jeep at the moment.. Also why did you buy another XK8 and not a XK, the newer Model ? or did You address that Question in an Earlier Video, that I can go back and View?
GREAT VIDEO AGAIN. that lift,, wow mate... I have another video on the 2000 XjR parts car on my channel,, well it might not be a parts car for long.. its trying..
@@ToTheGarage do me a favor, post your thoughts on my video if you can, that would be great.. I will always post my thoughts on yours, they are the best
Hi John, What a perfect height to work at!......already getting the benefits of the lift. What are you considering for the rust treatment?......have a look at the Bilt Hamber range...
I use Bilt Hamber galvanise primer with Bilt Hambler 2-Pack Epoxy Mastic Zinc Phosphate Top coat. This combination is rated as marine grade because it can survive 10 years in salt water and has self-healing properties. Some say it's overkill, but I want my Jag corrosion free for the rest of my life...!
Thanks Gerald. There Maybe. It was an option but it was not very common. I will have to do a video on it as several people have asked where it is/would be located.

I had some of those "Flat discs' on my previous XK8 and after a few years the growler started to wear off! Originals are the best

I dispensed with the locking nuts, apparently if you get a puncture it could be the sticking point.

Its a joy to use Harry. And ....... I do have some Bilt hamber product and some Jenolite.
Decisions decisions?
I use Noxudol 750 if I catch it soon enough, or MROChem Black Star Rust Converter if I don't.
