All the Digi boys sing the opening of their respective season in the memorial versions while the girls sing the ending and ironically only Takuya and Tommy are played by females and the reason I guess is because it's easier for female voice actors to voice young boys then it is for a male voice actor since Male voices change as time goes on while female voices don't plus it means the director doesn't have to keep changing actors for a given character.
I watched ALL the seasons of Digimon, but I only watched the English versions because they had more humor in my opinion, so when I hear this they sound REALLY weird to me...
