A grand quiz competition was organized at the Swadeshi Mela Auditorium, Gopal Maidan, Jamshedpur.
Jamshedpur, Marc 21: A grand quiz competition was organized at the Swadeshi Mela Auditorium, Gopal Maidan, Jamshedpur. Total 37 groups of five students each from various universities and colleges of Jamshedpur participated in the competition.
The Chief Guest of this competition Dr. Hassan Imam Malik (Manager Health & Wellness Sports Division, Tata Steel), Special Guest Dr. Amit Srivastava (Director, Arka Jain University), Dr. Professor Shivanand Singh (Vice Chancellor, Shrinath University), Mr. Shatrughan Singh (Director RBS College of Engineering & Technology) and Mr. Amitabh Senapati (Co-Convener Swadeshi Mela) were present as guests on the occasion.
Judges and Quiz Master Mr. Man Narayan Triguna (Provincial Head, Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas), Mrs. Pratibha Rani Mishra (NSS Program Officer, GIIT Professional College) and Mr. Mahboob Alam (Founder and President, Chishti Student Welfare Organization) were mainly present on the stage.
The guests seated on the stage were welcomed by the office bearers of Swadeshi Jagran Manch by presenting them mementoes and shawls.
On this occasion, the guests present on the stage called upon all the young participants to adopt indigenous products as much as possible in their lives and promote the 'Vocal for Local' campaign to make India self-reliant and developed.
At the end of this competition, Ramesh Oraon, Udit Narayan Kalindi, Rahul Kumar Pal, Sushila Hembram, Vikas Rajak of Rani Lakshmi Bai Group got first position, Geetika Goswami, Drupada Mahato, Dil Mohan Singh, Krishnapad Soren, Sachin Maiti of APJ Abdul Kalam Group got second position, and Tapas Pakhira, Kumar Shivam, Arpan Saha, Saurabh Raut, Krishna Pradhan of Birsa Munda Group got third position.
Manoj Kumar Singh (Member, Khadi Village Industries Commission, Government of India), Vande Shankar Singh (Co-Chief of All India Sangharsh Vahini, Swadeshi Jagran Manch) and Amitabh Senapati (Co-convener, Swadeshi Mela), present at the prize distribution ceremony, jointly honoured all the above mentioned first, second and third place winners with mementos and medals.
This program was successfully conducted by Navneet Kumar Singh (Competition Department, Swadeshi Mela) and the vote of thanks was given by Mukesh Thakur (District Coordinator, Swadeshi Jagran Manch).
