OMG thank you for this. I was looking for tutorials for an Egyptian-theme diorama (NECA Mummy figure) that actually told how to do the stucco look. Yours was the only one I found that actually showed the process!
You can make this for free!! You'll just need: Pink XPS foam from Home Depot, Rulers, Box cutters, Hot wire knife, all kinds of specialty free glue, a triangle thing to make sure your set is squared, a Sanding Block, sandpaper, another smaller speed square, sewing needle pins, 3 inch thick packing styrofoam, markers, a 1:6 scale figure, PVC pipe sections, spackling paste or drywall putty, many cans of spray paint and gloss paint and black washes.
?? Yeah meaning you don’t need to pay someone to do all that ?? YOUR LABOR is free, mine isn’t. And people wonder why customizers and diorama builders need to charge so much to make it worth it for them...thank you for making our case for us. I gave this one away but if I charged accordingly for time and it would be $300+ P.S. all those tools once you buy them will last you decades and the materials will last you 6-7dioramas...
Hello 👋 Like the intro! 😅. I'm new at this and live in Sweden.. have trouble finding that foam you are using here..any ideas of where I can find online? And my other question is, how thick is the foam you are using? In metric system? 😊
That was awesome! I haven't ever used spray paint on XPS foam because of the fear of melting, but I did some similar spackling on a recent project of my own. Super great for covering up connection points! Your work is amazing!
I'm 30 seconds in and I'm hooked, I DID enjoy that intro!
😆 good
Best. Intro. Ever!

it is 1 inch thick or 2.54cm, and it is called XPS foam here, i would just search the phrase "buy XPS foam" and see what happens
@@OilersWorkshop 👋, thanks for the answer, I've tried but not really successful yet..but I will try some moore 😊.
