You hit the nail on the head. Lost my wife about six months ago after battling cancer for two years (she was 52)! Really done a lot of soul searching since then. I'll be out of the rat race within 5 years if not before (currently 55). Love you man! Keep preaching it!
Boy Tim, this was an eye-opening video. It really put life in perspective with the 9 lines representing 9 decades. People really think if you live until your 80s or 90s that you're going to be able to do what you are doing in your 60s and 70s. It's so true what you said in the video. I really hope people listen. I have a friend and sister in law that both died in their 50s, and they were both healthy, active women who didn't drink, smoke, and exercised every day. Both died of cancer. So you never know what cards you're dealt. Live the best life you can and keep crushing it.
Im glad my parents waited for full retirement age. If they started collecting social security at 62, they would have far less income now. They are both 82 years old now and in good health.
Two of my neighbors from my childhood died recently at 67. I tried to retire in 2022 when I moved to SC but they let me work at home with high NE salary. It's like a working vacation not having the 2 hour round trip commute and flexibility to go in the pool at lunch time, sleep 8 hours and play with my dog during the day. It's no longer a slave job.
I’m 83 and look back fondly to 75 when I was still working (not a prison job because I worked for myself). Now have an essential tremor with my hands and an arthritic hip. But still doing well.
Hey Tim! I’m 72 & still kicking. I know an 80 yr old that works at a Nursing Home as a CNA & can work circle s around some of those young ones. Just saying! Age is only a number to me, but u have to treat your body good & stay healthy. 🙃

I agree with you 100% Tim . As a retired Medic, I personally have seen life expectancy increase in the last 20 years. When I first started in EMS, the "older" patients were 73-75 y/o. When I retired 2 years ago (at age 58) my average age for an "older" patient was 85 y/o. My older patients were 92,93 & my oldest patient was 102. So we are living longer in general. I believe each individual needs to see what's the income stream with SS at whatever age they decide to start collecting . At age 62 you will have a decrease in the SS income of 30% for the remainder of your life, so it's important to understand this shortfall of $ & how it will affect your bottom line over the course of your remaining years. Also, keep in mind that at age 65 if you don't sign up for Medicare, you will have a penalty applied once you do sign up and that too will last for the remaining years. Safe Travels. P.S. Keep moving physically, the worst thing to do is retire from life!
According to the Society of Actuaries (SOA), a 65-year-old man in average health has a 55% chance of living to age 85, while a 65-year-old woman has a 65% chance. It’s taken care of and he’s cancer free, but very scary to happen to a 42 year old guy that looks 25 and has never smoked, drank or done any of that once in his life and has a pretty good diet.

We’re taught that alcohol is okay as long as you’re 21. And you’re even made to feel a fool if you don’t drink alcohol at least socially. I do not. I haven’t had an alcoholic drink since I was 15 years old. Literally not even a sip. I may have taken some alcoholic cough medicine on accident, which I don’t prefer to take if it’s got alcohol. At 65 you urinate a lot and get tired more easily. Probably nothing to worry about. But I agree, age 65 to 73 has got to be the very best that you can make it. i.e. not working unless you really love it. Being "free" does take some getting used to. I had no symptoms for diabetes when a np decided to test me with an A1c. I was borderline. That was in '13. In '16 I was diagnosed diabetic. I was in my early 60's. It changes your life and you have to watch carefully what and how much you eat. At times it can be very frustrating because almost everything in our food has carbs. I have been able to control it fairly well with how I eat. Fortunately, I am not on pills or insulin, thank God. I refuse to let it get to that. Please keep a watch on your health in that regard and the amount of carbs you eat. My sister is not diabetic so I don't really understand it. My folks lived until 92 and I want to live as long. Take care of your health..also daily exercise is very important no matter our age.
Tim you're right increased urination and feeling tired are symptoms of diabetes. So is increased thirst, feeling really hot, or cold and clammy. Go get checked. Just found out I have it.
I don’t have those other symptoms. I think I was jetlagged and stressed from worrying about a 7000 pound trailer behind me for five days. I went to the gym today and had a great workout. I deliver to various ones in my city and the difference is night and day and it’s very sad. You wouldn’t wish that on anyone.
News reports of residents getting abused
@@michaeltheveny5270 I think you said it correctly the nursing homes for the destitute vs. private nursing homes for the affluent or people with money.
Most will never have the money needed per month to reside in private nursing care. Whatever amount I can save, The home would get it all.

It looks like there are quite a few mobile RV wash/detailing services in Bullhead City. I think it's worth it, if it's not convenient to pack up & go to a car wash. It sure is nice when the rig is all cleaned up.
Did you search Miss Cindy? I will search. And have someone come out ASAP. 😎

Also, health is wealth! What good is a mini mansion, Lamborghini, and a few thousand in the bank if you are laying on a slab down at the morgue? Exercising and eating right is more important in senior, or approaching senior age, than ever! Great video!
Tim you’re at the casino a while? Have it sent to reception at the hotel as a hotel guest.
People get to do what they choose...I agree with your personal choices, but people have freedom to do as they want.
Of course they do always have. 😎
Where is your Montreal steak seasons?
Wish I didn’t know now…What I didn’t know then. Against the Wind, still running against the wind…🤷🏼♀️

My wife and I were 2 years from having our house paid off when she decided she wanted a divorce. She got the house I ended up starting over again in an apartment at age 57. Oh well. I've learned that even with a life partner, you can't count on them.
I feel ya, but with God all things are possible. Keep the faith my friend it’s all gonna work out you’ll see. 😎
Great Stuff Tim 🔥

Bob Wells of Cheap RV Living in one his recent videos described a job as a “prison job”.
I like Bob 😊
OH NO! The haters will now go after Bob! That term hurts their wee little feelings.
Love of money is the root of all evils
The Spere at night Tim~ look it up
At 65 you urinate a lot and get tired more easily. Probably nothing to worry about. But I agree, age 65 to 73 has got to be the very best that you can make it. i.e. not working unless you really love it. Being "free" does take some getting used to. We are programmed to not enjoy doing anything we want, or for that matter doing nothing at all. Society looks down on that.
Absolutely ST! Top 2 gimmicks, Car Stealerships and Pest Control.. always a infestation; praying on women's fears. Scam Artists.
I enjoy the longer videos too. 😊

Everyone gets to be young … not everyone is lucky enough to grow old.
Yes. 😎
Tim I turned 62 March 1st in August I'm going to apply for SSA and I should get my first check November December this year... I'll be crushing it too...😮🎉
Looking at cell phones puts me asleep. Glare/high contrast situations.
Man up and drink it black.
Almost there. 🤣😎
@@SarasotaTim it's better for you.
Exactly RIGHT when seeing a collision, STOP RUBBER NECKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Causes MORE ACCIDENTS!!
Women live longer because they have two 'Y' chromosomes. One can replace other if damage occurs. Males have 'XY'. If one goes bad loss that chromosome function and increases earlier death possibility.
Great video
Tim, this video is one of your top three educational teachings of all time. You definitely crushed it. What you're saying are just facts. But as usual some people just don't want to hear it because they're to in debt.
My old Army buddy, son of Ed Big Daddy Royh(Rat Fink) you can mail coffee to 592 Pala Verde BHC, he will run it over to you! FYI Charlie Ray

Tim I get it! Truth......This is right on
Prostate issues can cause you to urinate a lot and wake up go to do #1.
Human beans here in Oregon too
Best video ever😊😊😊
Tim you're right increased urination and feeling tired are symptoms of diabetes. So is increased thirst, feeling really hot, or cold and clammy. Go get checked. Just found out I have it.
I don’t have those other symptoms. I think I was jetlagged and stressed from worrying about a 7000 pound trailer behind me for five days. I went to the gym today and had a great workout. Feeling pretty good. However, I’ll keep an eye on it. The only doctor I can see is 2500 miles away ha ha i’m on the disadvantage plan remember 😎
