In the original timeline he bested scorpion twice, subzero jr, an elder god, 4 God's, the brother hood of shadow, and Groeo back when that ment something, and only lost to tavin, scorpion, but in the this timeline he hasn't won one fight

Bi Han is GROSSLY under utilized in story mode in every game.
He's has arguably the most popular and important story arc with Scorpion and possibly one of the best back stories of all

They really make him weak in a story, he should be the true meaning of fear, biggest threat, friend of no one, and a ronin

That alone should put him above character like Scorpion.
Not to mention he say Kronika make him stronger, it was plot why he lose in this game.

The voice actor for Bi Han in this game does a great job though.
He’s not awful. To me it sounds like he’s trying too hard to be intimidating.

They did my boy noob dirty in this one lol, he’s one of the coolest characters but I feel like he got lackluster combos, not enough of a threat as a villain, and not enough brutalities. Maybe next time they’ll do him justice, but I think he should at least be a thorn in the Lin kueis side, trying to form his new shadow clan.

Why they portray Noob Saibot as a weak? His powers are the most awesome in the franchise. In MK3 Ultimate in PS1 he was one of the best characters with a lengthy list of combos and special powers and moves. This story sucks
They could make you win the fights but make the after fight cutscene someone interrupting the fight so it’s not just him getting constantly koed and losing credibility

Then you've got the conundrums y'all call good Match Ups with sensible victors.. and here's the kicker.. this IS the story:
Quan chi tricks Bi Han, or coerces whatever into killing Hanzo and clan,
So quan chi can make scorpion, to go back and Kill Bi Han, to make the shadowman. He gets killed by an exploding 'soulnado' and gets quotes saying he can't die so easily..
But he gets knocked around everywhere through Every game by matchups that are disproportionately set up with victors that don't seem realistic.
Sorry had to go there, y'all always sucked with sensible, believable match ups.

It does get annoying at times, whoever’s chapter it’s on beats every opponent she or he encounters, Jax beating Noob is bullshit, Sub zero beating him is also bullshit but it’s more believable, Fujin is the only one that can be excused.
