The funny part about everything to me atleast is that this tournament took so long to conclude, Josh was literally able to become significantly faster throughout the duration of the tournament lol. Like when it started this would've been an insanely close match. Also can definitely tell you were typing far from your best, especially compared to yesterday. Regardless tho, I really appreciate everyone who made this event possible, yourself included
my match against hysteria was my best typing imo. yesterday i did decently against keeganT, and this one was just uh, 10 seconds of great typing followed by 20 seconds of flailing around and that repeated many times.
I was talking to Josh in the VIV Discord and we did some friend races. His average was like almost 200 so I can see how he was able to do so good here.

Hey John, congratulations on making this far in the tournament! I want to take a second to admire your typing.... I would say that my peak bursting speed is kinda around yours, but what amazes me is your accuracy, I can't type at these speeds 90% of the time without making several errors which usually makes me end up in the 160/170 zone. I think what this really proves is that accuracy is really necessary at a higher level, whatever your raw speed may be.

Whenever I measure it, I always have a super strong correlation between wpm and accuracy. There are some faster qwerty typists with lower accuracy though. I think my low high speed is probably connected to Dvorak

Bro I’m 11 and my typing speed is more than my accuracy my typing speed is 91wpm averge on nitro type and averge accuracy is like 85 it’s 95 entel the End and I choke Evertime
U were trying to go way too fast u should went decently fast and maintained very high accuracy or maintain decent speed and high accuracy at the beginning but boost up ur speed by the end of the race with little less accuracy.

do you have any tips for qwerty? I type around 90-110 wpm and I feel like I've definitley hit a bottleneck, my accuracy is definitely something that needs to be worked on though
monkeytype and set wpm limits. Everytime you succeed, push it 1 wpm harder.
