This song of yours was on my spotify discover playlist this week and I've just been playing it over and over. This video helped me learn it on guitar today. Very special song, man. I'm pretty sure it's about enlisting in the military, but it resonated with me on just moving to another part of the country for school. I was just some young dummy kid who told his family he wanted to go learn physics. Many years of community college, transfers, and moves later I finally got my bachelors in physics. It didn't get me as much as I thought it would, it turns out, so I kept going and got my masters. Still not much 'fanfare', no knobs of the doors of opportunity. so I'm applying for my phd now. My family is bewildered and wondering when I'll ever come home, but 'I said I was going and I went'. I'm gonna see this thing through. Anyways, that's probably very different from what you were imagining when writing the song. I think it speaks to the artistry of the song that it can hit hard on such a wide spectrum of interpretations. You've given me a lot of inspiration to persevere on my path today. Thanks, and much love my dude.
I found you through one of my favorite content creators (who i already see mentioned so I'll spare you). And I legit love you, man. The song of itself is absolutely beautiful, brought me to tears. But then you do what every aspiring wants to see when they find a great song. You made a video on how to play your song, exactly how you play it. And I think while it might seem like such a small thing (depending on how you look at it), it's absolutely something I stand behind when it comes to making music, and sharing it. I will definitely be learning this, playing this, and sharing this all around with I get the chance to. Thank you, man.
Man, this is so surreal, haha, just the other day I was asking for chords and here you are making a tutorial song, it's crazy. I should probably mention I'm drunk and meticulously checking my spelling. fuck I'm stupid, take care brother, you're drunk stupid friend, Josue, big love, goodnight.
Hey man! I’ve been trying to figure out little sleep but haven’t been able to get it, I was curious if you could do a tutorial for that song as well?? Keep doing what you’re doing man y’all are awesome!
Are you planning on doing another one of these tutorials for Allison? Amazing voice and guitar work, keep it up I’ve been listening to your songs on repeat for the past couple of weeks.
