    I like it with the opening in the middle. I think I'm going to do this, and leave the opening in the middle.

    Great video, but it would not be possible to attach a chain to that pendant. You would need to remove the middle top link of the three and replace it with something larger. Alternatively move the middle ring up, so it only passes through the one ring.

    47 SMALL RINGS IS INCORRECT as you need an additional four to connect the arms together. as at 5:12

    Hello! I'm trying to make your beautiful cross and I was wondering if you could tell me what are the gauges of the jump rings.

    your photographic skills are awesome 👌
    this tutorial is on point for me I have struggled with this project for years now and I am going to try your tutorial it looks so much simpler than the other's I have seen its so hard to finding the right sizes in mandrals to make perfect rings may be that is the biggest of problems then its the AR thing you make it look so easy and nicely done I feel your accent is atailian reminds me of a Saturday night comedian
    father guido sarduchie he had a few skits one he was best known for was the voice of a clay cartoon character mr Bill
    I hope you do not take offense he is atailian and reminded me of this video
    its about that type of charm and Corrizma that gets the job done
    very nicely done tutorial 👏 👍 hope to see more from you 😀 👍 😊
    PS
    check out the old snl for father guido he was doing his thing in the 70s

    Awesome.
    Where do you get 1.4mm wire from? I can't seem to find it in the US. If I was to use 16 gauge (1.29mm) or 18 gauge (1.02mm) what diameter rings would you recommend to have the cross be nice and tight like yours?
    Thanks.

    • @mechanicalbrain4366
      @mechanicalbrain4366  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well, I had some wire in stock. I live in Latvia, so we don`t use gauges here, and 1.4 mm wire is not a problem. For 18 gauge try 5 mm inner diameter for persian part. Copper rings - 11.5-11.7 mm, 9,1-9,2 and 5,8-5,9 mm.

    why did you not terminate the bottom arm of the cross with a third ring?

    • @mechanicalbrain4366
      @mechanicalbrain4366  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hmmm... the right answer is - I don`t remember already ) It seems that I didn`t want to add the ring there.. You can add the third ring in your variation.

    mine turned out great but it was super loose. :( I guess I use the wrong gauge wire. they didn't hold their form even though I did it right.

    • @jasontatum5437
      @jasontatum5437 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      1.4mm wire is 17 gauge, so all of the rings are 17 gauge. I myself am trying to find 17 gauge. 16 and 18 seem to be most common.
      I found similar sizes in 16 gauge for the copper wire here theringlord.com/cart/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=19&cat=Machine+Cut+Copper+Jump+Rings
      as well as this link for the steel rings. same size, just a different color.

      Hi there! Rings for full persian part - 1.4 mm wire, 7 mm mandrel, ar=5. Copper rings - wire is ~1.25 - 1.3 mm, I don`t remember exactly at the moment. But I remember, I mentioned all sizes in the begining of the tutorial. Spasibo = thank you =) Pozhaluysta = you are welcome, please =)
