  • In this lesson, we start an indepth look into the Ahanta language with the abled assistance of Alex Ampong Ackah. We travelled all the way to Takoradi to make this possible.
Ahanta is a language which is at the edge of its extinction and everything possible that needs to be done to help revive the language needs to be done.
/*if you are watching, help share this language wide so more people get to discover that, Ahanta could be learnt here*/

My book 📚 KNOW GHANA BETTER is out. It talks about oral histories of Ghanaian tribes, migration, festivals, languages in Ghana, tourist sites, legends and many more. There are 9 main language groups in Ghana
    - Guan, Ga-Dangme, Ewe, Senufo, Ghana-Togo Mountain Languages, Mole- Dagbon, Gurunsi, Akan, Gurma
All these 9 groups are discussed including their vast historical accounts, dialects, tourism potentials and a whole lot more into great details.
KNOW GHANA BETTER told our history the Ghanaian way: born of unity and not the one of separation as passed down to some of us because some languages were born out of some. Likewise, one tribe was not born in isolation from the other. In short, all Ghanaian ethnic groups are interconnected.

Ahanta is Akan as he is telling you and was originally Akan. They moved Southwards together with the Fantes. You have an anti-Akan agenda with your teachings. Even the language of the real Guans are related to Akan.
