No matter what the enemy tries to whisper in your ears...esp on a tough day. He tells LIES. Jesus said it:" he aint nothing but a LIAR"( paraphrased).Many lies. Half truths. White lies. Whatever you want to call it. He will tell you of the good times you had " in the old days" without reminding you of the bad times...the wretched misery you felt and endured. Like someone once told me long ago regarding leaving a marriage:" you always think the grass is greener on the other side but you still have to cut the lawn". There is always some work to be done. And weeds always spring up. Also,let us rembr the words of Heb 10:18-31. It will be worse for us to have tasted His goodness and then turn away. Think abt it,what we do to Jesus. And think abt it,you think the devil really will welcome us back with loving arms? Oh yeah,he will welcome us back- but certainly not with loving arms. To make mincemeat of us. There is nothing loving abt him. The beauty of it all? In those verses we are offered a solution. Abba Father is so sweet and faithful. " Dont forsake the assembling of ourselves". Dont try to do it alone. Have at least one trustworthy wise- and Spirit filled- person you can lean on.( Someone who will boldly tell you when you are wrong😮) God bless.❤
