Vajrapani will protect you from evils of the mind when you invoke his mantras. An easy mantra is OM VAJRAPANI HUM. He bears the lightning bolt that destroys all evil. This mantra is to repair the breakage of tantric vows which is merely failure to see everything as deity and giving into dualistic mindsets. This is why it’s often chanted because vows are pretty much broken every minute. Can also visualise vajrasattva and his consort out of their secret places stream a white purifying blissful essence that enters your crown cakra and spreads through your body, cleansing it of all breakage of samaya (vow)
