Correction - its not a medium tank. Its slow, got big alpha, horrible dispersion on the move and far too much turret armor. Its a heavy tank supposed to never move from its hulldown position in the medium class to mess up the matchmaker
Well to be fair there are heavy tanks with the size of medium and light tanks with the size of medium. I guess what makes a heavy tank a heavy tank is its overall weight. They label these tanks based on their weight class.
Heavies are defined by more than mere armour. The thing gets 0.04 stock turret dispersion, a top speed of 45 and 1600hp wich to me are the stats that make it kinda unique. Sure you have the turret but you kinda have too little hp to be running improved hardening so you prob won't see these brawling too much against tier IX and above. I see most people running turbo + rammer + Vents/ stab/ iAU on this wich will make it feel even more like a medium
why on earth is this a medium tank. it weighs over 60 tons, it has sluggish mobility, a rather derpy high alfa gun, strong turret and pretty shitty hull, and also its huge. i just cant wrap my head around why they wouldnt just make it a heavy straight away. its like a worse t-10
QB, if you want an "Italian autoreloader heavy tank" wait for the Toro (Italian for "bull"), it's a rear-turreted Tier 9 premium heavy with a four-shell autoreloader.
I have not played WOT for years, but still watch QB. He configures his machines for high skill players (obviously) but when I was playing, the greatest impact I saw was optics, on the Tiger 2 and everything there after... If you can't see it, you can't shoot it and often, if you can see it, it's you that's spotting it and you get free xp. I was only a 54% player, so what do I know, but I might just help someone improve a little!

Thanks for the honest review, I already have an E77, which is very similar to the Felice. Knowing how wargaming can go for years without buffing bad tanks, I don't see any point in even taking this tank into the hangar.
You have to remeber this is Wargaming, itf they can't work out Newtonian physics there's no way they can tell the difference between the Romans and Vikings, they're a backward nation that got limited education.
Its a single shot CC that trades hull and some turret armor for better mobility. So if not playing hulldown its big alpha is still going to be effective as a close range support tank.

I love that they are adding a tank that has a decent armour model and visual queues actually line up correctly with where it is thinly armoured. Tanks who have too much armour need to have added weak spots that are reasonable to snipe if entire plates are not changed. Yes I include premiums in this.

Other than the turret armor, it really reminds me of the M4 Rev. Hear me out. Slow, big, not a sniper, no a up close brawler. Not great camo, not great vision. High alpha, long reload, good gun depression, troll gun. Its gonna work best in a support role. Im probably gonna love this tank
It's almost like this tank was tailored for using the Experimental Fire Control System that improves the aiming time and the dispersion only when moving or traversing the hull.
This is a heavy tank cosplaying as a medium. Also, I can't stop thinking about the WZ-114 vibes it gives, with it being slow to move, slow to aim but smacks for around 500 damage, with good turret armor but weak hull.
It's weird not to compare this tank to the CC1Mk2. It's got a similar gun (better gun handling, worse DPM), similar turret (just a bigger cupola as weakspot), similar playstyle. The Felice is more flexible while the CC is a touch more resilient. The main difference and what makes this tank really toxic (but it's the meta I guess) is that its better mobility allows it to reach hulldown positions much faster than the CC1Mk2 but also to relocate more easily. Also, it's much harder to flank this tank, unlike the CC1Mk2. CC1Mk2 is very strong, especially when played well, but it requires to pick the right place to fight and anticipate, you won't have many chances to relocate, it's a slow and meticulate playstyle (which I personnal like a lot). People think it's OP but its inaccurate gun and very weak side armor are very punitive and force it to close range fights. The Felice does not really have these weakness, or far less. Thanks WG for making the game a little worse with every second new tank...
Good alpha can make a tank. If the gun can hit most of the shots its going to be a good tank. Bz-176 showing how the he ammo fails against thin angled armor behind tracks. If he shot ap he would rip through the side like nothing. Gold is not always the answer.

I want to see, Tank vs Ship battles... Ammo for tanks is designed to pen MANY mm of armor. But the pen on the ships tends to SUCK and 400mm guns BARELY pen 25mm, top armor.
Good luck seeing anything with the extra view range, guess you need coated too - then go turbo, tank is slow as crap. It also has one of the best turret traverse dispersion in the game at 0.04. Vert stabs a huge waste here.

I disagree with using engineer. The benefit of 1.25 kmh is virtually worthless and I never find that my engine gets knocked out, much less when my repair kit is on cooldown. It should absolutely be replaced with smooth ride or clutch braking which both will be useful the entire battle and not just when moving to a new position (where the benefit isn’t noticeable). If engineer improved engine durability or increased forward and reverse speed to a much greater degree, it would be worth it, especially in the latter case. In its current state, engineer sucks. Edit: using turbo makes engineer even less useful. 50 to 51.3 kmh… really? I feel like people don’t actually think about these perks before slapping them on.

The Felice looks like a low caliber high RoF Artillery piece with buffed turret Armor. It kinda looks like the M-109 Paladin.

It also means camo rating penalty when moving is also a medium and not like a heavy.

The medium tank flank on Westfield needs a rework, it's terrible. Only if I have a ridiculous camo build on my med do I ever go to that side.
