Never seen or heard such an epic intro ... typical Rwanda roots of fine classy arts, bluesy, poetic, minor chords, alto vocals and a "2Pac-ish" sophisticated rimes and cuts. This piece is fire.

Xexoxical Endarchy this is a Rwandan historical song, it not a song as you might think of it but rather an oral historical essay. Rwandan people only used this method to transfer knowledge and stories from one generation to another.
So here, the composer was literally telling word to word a conversation that happened between our king Rwabugili who ruled in 1800's and one of his great worriers Rwanyonga in which they were arguing about who is the best fighter and who is not regardless their titles. They went on to test on another on so many levels (drinking, archery and so on) until the king lost to Rwanyonga.
We Rwandans consider this to be true and history, so we love to listen to them. I guess I helped u a little at least."

It is from Rwanda country.It talks about the race between a brave warrior king Rwabugiri and brave servant Rwanyonga.Rwanyonga won the race of shooting,drinking and so on.
Charly, its incredible you loved it as well. Its a legendary story of sorts. More like the Biblical story of Saul and David - only that this is about Rwanda and how a King (Rwabugiri) and an ordinary man (Rwanyonga) competed in different things, from drinking to hunting animals to killing forest dwellers, or pygmies, until the latter saved the king just as he was about to be killed by the pygmies. King Rwabugiri rewarded (read 'tricked') Rwanyonga by offering him his daughter to be his wife, the latter accepted despite a warning by an elder against marrying into the King's family. One day the King would invade the house of his now son-in-law and killed him, but the latter ensured he killed the king's daughter too and cut the king's palm off as well. As he breathed his last he told the King he had died as a man and would be laid to rest by his family, but the latter would die alone, in exile. Not sure how true the whole story is but King Rwabugiri died in exile after he was banished by Belgian colonialists. Cheers!
