Great tutorial Seb. Does anyone know the video where he talks about impermanent loss? I'm trying to dial in DLMM's and the shift between the tokens and the imp loss. Appreciate it!
Hey thanks! I don't have a video on impermanent loss although, i talked about it a little in this video. Impermanent loss is like a temporary drop in the value of your investments when you provide liquidity. This happens because the prices of the tokens you put in can change. So, if the prices move a lot, you might not end up with as much money as you expected if you take your investments out before they go back up.
@SebMontgomery thx for the reply. I've learned a lot from your tutorials and information. I still have a lot to learn, and it's not always easy to navigate through all of it.
Yes, this is called impermanent loss. Impermanent loss occurs when you provide liquidity and the price of your deposited assets changes compared to when you deposited them. This can lead to a situation where the value of your share of the pool is less than if you had held onto your assets separately, especially when one asset’s price moves significantly more than the other.
Great tutorial. Thks Seb !!
My pleasure!

The fees are insane at the moment on the upt usdc pool
wish I had more capital to deploy..
thanks for the tutorial brother
My pleasure!
So is a DLMM pretty much like staking? And how does it differ from a vault?
No its liquidity providing with dynamic/custom volatility strategies to maximize fees for specific pairs
Thanks for the reply.

What is the best way to find out when the JLP Pool opens up?
It'll be announced and you can also stay updated by joining their discord.
Hey Seb. Please confirm if we need to hold MER tokens in our wallet to be legable for MET token drops?
There is no info on an airdrop yet, but holding MET tokens whould boost your eligibilty. NFA
Understood and thanks 👍
Glad it helped
Hi Seb, how can I calculate my personal earning rate based on tighter range? Orca simply shows you the estimated rate before deploying.
I have no idea on this, join the LP army in Meteora because Orca is showing you a rate which is like an estimated rate and nothing is accurate here.
nice Meteora tutorial
Thank you ser!
Will I still be able to capture some fees if I provide one coin single-sidedly at all areas of the range?
Yes, it works both ways.
EXCELENTE EXPLICACIÓN MI AMIGO, en ingles lo entendí mejor que español. gracias
¡Me alegro que lo hayas hecho! Gracias por ver.
¡Pronto tendré subtítulos!
how to buy tokens on it like raydium not open Jupiter to buy
You can't buy tokens on it, it's a liquidity pool, you would need your tokens already in your wallet
Unfortunately, parcl isn't available in my area😢
Sorry to hear that, You could use a VPN, this is not financial or legal advise, ensure you're not breaking any laws

if the price changes significantly, will our money be lost?

What's with the phishing attempts on their website? That's something that made me and still makes me to stay away from this project!
That's strange, have you checked that you are on the right website?
