I wanted to tell you a great tip. If you save all your dryer lint, it makes for a great fire starter. And crayons make great candles because each one of them burns for at an hour a piece. XoXo, Kiara
Solar lights fit perfectly in an empty 16 oz water bottle. Throw a few pennies in the bottle to weigh it down. Safe for children to carry room to room. Hello from Fort Myers, Florida!
You might check with your Walmart. Target to see if they carry the refill for the lighter. Ours quit carrying it because they were being stolen. I had to go to a smoke/cigarette store. They had plenty. Double check. Don't wait til the last minute.
Whole black peppercorns benefit greatly from freezing. They stay fresh longer and the flavor is stronger. Ive been storing them in quart jars when I buy them in bulk, you can also put your grinders as is in the freezer. Good haul and thanks for the content you put out.
Your Dollar Tree has a lot more than my store does. I visited ours today and it is under construction. It's looking more like a Dollar General with their $5, $3 shelves.
There are two Dollar Trees near me. They have some of the same stuff but one store is a lot bigger. Neither of them have the same stock or I can’t find it in the store.
You got a really good haul for $50 and my husband and I were waiting to see if the last thing you took out of your bag were matches. We always watch for those, lol.
Great haul, Jinne! I have *got to write on my list to get some of those solar lights. I keep thinking I'll remember, but never do LOL I did find a couple of the tarps, finally. And matches. I had wondered about those Betty Crocker shears. I need a new pair and will give those a try. BTW, the regular scissors (Jot brand) are good to have on hand. I keep a pair in every room, as well as a couple of backups. I did notice that the last ones I bought were a little smaller. Shrinkflation everywhere.
Speaking of the long lighters ... has anyone seen them at Walmart lately? I used to get them (Ozark Trail brand) in the camping section for $.88 and would pick up a couple each time I went. They disappeared for a while and the last time I saw them, they had been moved ( still in the camping section) and had a price sticker of over $2. I haven't seen then in at least 6 months. My Dollar Tree doesn't have any.
Wonderful video thank you ❤. Our dollar is really low on canned food, noodles, potatoes, vacaline , chips , Cookies , cheese. Sugar, flour.do yo have to buy batteries for those solar lights?
I recently read to store your lighters upright, so the fluid doesn't leak out. I went thru my stash and stood them all up. Would hate to be counting on them and then find that none of them work. I have a lot stored because I have read they will be great bartering items.
My dollar tree food supply seems to be growing and a lot. It used to be just 1 row on both sides now its 2 rows on both sides and another half a row. I'm not complaining. I love it. I also do a lot of online ordering of stuff from them. I know I have to get a bigger quantities but if I use a lot of it, I don't mind.
Oooo... Dollar Tree haul time! Hot coffee stirred with a cinnamon stick is soooo good! I leave one in the cup while I'm drinking the magic bean elixir. The rest of the haul is inspiration material. Great vid.
Thank you Jennie, great haul and useful advice, I like the length of your hair makes you look very youthful, I just turned 67’and had my hair cut to my shoulders and it looks nice!
Howdyyawl from the land down under. Doolar Tree must be a wholesale store for you. We had some like this, called Rite Price. But shut down Bcoz too much competion from Costco.Whayever you can grow,do it. Food in the world is soon coming to a production halt. Small holdings & farms will be the only way to get fresh produce. If youve got a little patch in the yard, use it wisely Grow as much as you can, preserve it if can. Good life is with good food & good freinds. Keeping it real 😊
Not to take you away from this channel at all but I found dollar tree dinners Rebecca does a fabulous job of cooking budgeting and taste testing items from dt. She has meal ideas for parties and gatherings and really has great ideas.
Howdyyawl from the land down under.love your video. In OZ where we live, making stuff for long term storage is the go. Our nearest store is half an hour away, the big supermarkets are 1hour away. Costco is 2& a half hours away. You can grow pepper Bush from seeds, turmeric bulbs& garlic, onions. We have a dehydrator to make dried produce. Keeps for years. Keeping it real😊
We have searched for the headlamps every trip to DT. Where do they hide them?? The DT rain ponchos are a great money saver to take when visiting a theme park. Last year Disney parks were kids $9 each and adults $15!
Ours too. The store closest to us now has almost bare shelves because they said the store was closing, building was sold, no new store to replace it and employees are being offered to work at other DT’a in the area.
In 25 words or less, can anyone explain what Pink Sauce is? 😊 Apparently, it's a *thing* on Tik Tok. I got a bottle at DT because it sounds interesting ( made with dragon fruit). The employees staryed talking about it when I checked out, but didn't really know anything about it.
Quick question since this is my first time to your channel, you mentioned storing food in 5 gallon buckets. Do you add silica gel.packs to help with moisture and does the lid seal well enough to keep moths out? I dehydrate lots of foods and store in jars, so just curious. Love the idea of using popcorn for corn flour. I may try this for homemade tortillas.
When I ask this question, don't y'all attack me. I am with ya. I wish I had more in my prepper pantry. I am just curious why all of you want to have prepper pantries. Do you have it for possible weather disasters, unforeseen sickness, or do you think it's possible that it's going to be something bigger, something like an attack on our country, civil unrest, political problems, war, etc. So curious to know the reasons we would store so much food for so long.
Wow you got a good haul. I need to go to Dollar Tree and look for somethings. I live in San Diego and last week we had horrible rains and lots of flooding, which I’m sure you have heard. Supposed to get more tomorrow and I’d like to be prepared with some rain ponchos.we have a drain behind our house and my hubby goes out every now and then to make sure nothings clogging it
Yes Ma'am. You Never Know what can happen. I love watching your site, you always find so many fun things. I found a Unique Book at a Thrift Store Called Stocking Up, this Book was the 10th Printing - June 1975. Has alot of interesting things in it.. Lol. Stocking Up and Prepping are the Same to Many. Even had Clippings and a few Recipes from the Newspaper but no dates on the clippings.
Not sure if you are aware or not but the audio on your last 2 videos is having issues. It goes from loud to soft. We watch all your videos but this one and the last one have audio problems. Hope you can get it resolved.
With the cost of living skyrocketing and us normal people trying to budget, it’s forcing us to abandon “one stop shopping”. I now have to go Albertsons, Sam’s Club, Walmart, and the various dollar stores just to ensure I get the best bang for my bucks. Keep up the good work, keep your preps up to include not just food & water preps, but also medical, firearms and ammunition, & fire starting materials (among the countless other preps)! 👍🏾🇺🇸
I haven't been able to find the headlamps in any of the Dollar tree's near me. BTW I tried your energy bars from last week I think....they were wonderful!!
Last time I was in the DT I bought the Texas biscuits and we made corn bread out of it. It was ok but I have to figure out what to put in it to make it WOW!
I get so tickled seeing you pop out with the matches in these videos. I can just imagine a bushel basket full of matches, haha. Another good video...hope your week is going well.
This is a great haul! You must have one humongous pantry to store these hauls lol. It's good to see the coconut flour there, I'm trying to stick to keto right now. I can never find those headlamps at our stores. If I ever come across them, I'm stocking up! I love it how you will give examples on the different uses of some items. Thinking outside the box is key to prepping. Thank you!
The rope is ok but you cannot melt and seal the ends. Its not the same material as paracord. Great stock up haul. I a, going this weekend to do my weekly shopping. I love DT.
Great haul, Jinne! I have several of those scoops! I keep them in my pantry. I was starting seeds a couple weeks ago, and thought one of them would be great for filling solo cups with seed mix. It worked great! You're right about them stocking a lot of things that aren't food! There aren't as many of the things I used to stock up on. I've been looking for the coco coir blocks, but so far, I haven't seen any. They do have seeds, though, so I've been getting those--still 4/$1!
Since it was my day off, I made myself some waffles from your baking mix recipe today, Jinne - delicious! Didn't taste any different than Bisquick, & I alternated between using syrup & apple butter for their topping...that apple butter will be especially fantastic on pumpkin pancakes/waffles in the autumn. Yum!! 😋
Thank you Jinne for sharing your treasures with us. Blessings ❤
Yes I love them scoops I need more I seen that on the less food . GODBLESS sweetie
I love watching you. You "light up" TH-cam. Keep smiling.
Great finds. I have to Travel atleast a half hour to 3 different dollar trees but i find different things at each of them.
Paprika is a good source of potassium, something your body needs. An electrolite.
I wanted to tell you a great tip. If you save all your dryer lint, it makes for a great fire starter. And crayons make great candles because each one of them burns for at an hour a piece. XoXo, Kiara
Tip: wide blue painters tape holds well, when holding plastic over windows..
And does not tear up wall when removing
Great finds and our Dollar tree is getting less food also here in northern New Mexico.
Great stock ups hun . Im hoping to shop the dollar tree in the city soon 😀.
Good morning
Hello have a good evening.
After doing the math two people need the lbs each of rice beans, tuna and pasta to survive for eight days bare minimum for anyone interested
Three I mean
WOW you got a lot of stuff , I was waiting for the matches , lol , Thank you Jinne
Take the stick off of the solar light and it fits perfectly in a canning jar.
I just put mine in upsidedown :)
They work well in candle holders, milk jugs & vases, too. :)

Europe is having food shortages now with empty shelves due to farmer’s strike. It’s coming here too.
Great video! Do you have a video on how you store your pasta? I’m new to all of this so have some catching up to do…
Whole black peppercorns benefit greatly from freezing. They stay fresh longer and the flavor is stronger. Ive been storing them in quart jars when I buy them in bulk, you can also put your grinders as is in the freezer. Good haul and thanks for the content you put out.
Hi..... do you need to use a oxygen absorber or vac seal the jar? Or as long as it's an airtight glass jar is good enough??
@@dawn1913 I don't put an oxygen absorber. I just put them in a mason jar. I hope that helps.
@@brendasmiley6128 Yes. Thanks very much
@@brendasmiley6128 yes, Thanks!
Once your done with the rope that holder makes a good DYI fishing kit.
Yes love the headlamps so handy and the light goes where you are looking
Your Dollar Tree has a lot more than my store does. I visited ours today and it is under construction. It's looking more like a Dollar General with their $5, $3 shelves.
Was at one of my ingredients DT and didn’t have near the stuff as yours 😢😢. In AZ
They already turned our store in to $1.25 and more, yup to $5.
Their all owned by the same parent company. I wish they'd carry the same basics.
There are two Dollar Trees near me. They have some of the same stuff but one store is a lot bigger. Neither of them have the same stock or I can’t find it in the store.
Low income shop our little dollar tree alot so it's hard to find and foods . I normally have to visit the ones in the cities .
Wow! I really have learned a lot of ideas from you. I'm glad I found your channel ❤

I bought some of those lighters right before Christmas at Walmart. They were on an end cap near the candles for
96 cents.
@@loridamico3368 Thanks! I didn't think to look there because they had never been there.

I now have a nice stock of matches and long lighters thanks to Jinne. 🔥.

Food shelves are about half the space they were in the last couple of years. So many items are now double and triple faced along shelves.
I got some of the sweet chili sauce. Oh my goodness, you are right Jinne it is FABULOUS. ❤❤
We were about to buy it but saw main ingredient was high fructose corn syrup.

What is a good grinder for the popcorn
Coffee grinder works well
I simmer orange peels and cinnamon sticks and lemon peels on my stove when guests come to visit for dinner. It makes everything smell so good. ❤
I would think you were cooking something yummy for us!
add cloves it will smell even better. i do cinnamon, oranges, and cloves when i have company
I love doing that as well. Thats the best! Smells better than any expensive candle, or wax melts, in my opinion.
Hello from PA, peace to everyone!
Hello from southern Indiana, I’ve searched 3 stores and can never find the cinnamon sticks!
You are awesome!!!! If no one has told you lately. 🤗🤗☕☕
Bugs don't bother you stored goods if you put in glass jars and add a few bay leaves.
If the popcorn has nothing else in it but popcorn, it can be planted just like the beans.
I didn’t know that! Thx
It only grows popcorn, not sweet corn.
Its true. I've grown it in my garden before.
Grind it for cornmeal
Matches! Great haul, Jinne! I need to go to DT!
