Twice has been around for a minute but somehow, they've never quite had this sound and I'm glad they went with this for a nostalgic, sentimental type track. Beautiful cinematography and you can hear the emotion behind the lyrics as the members sing it. Amazing release.
Twice doing justice to 80s synthpop. 9 years and still doing it, getting it done. The gold standard.

I think the best part of twice is the fact they’ve made their own sound no matter the different type of songs they’ve made it’s always had the twice sound
MV was shot in Busan last November. They were freezing while shooting but they don’t show it. The cabin is on set. All windows and openings were blue screen which was done so tastefully you can barely tell it’s cgi light effects
This song was performed live in Mexico at their record setting double sold out night for a female group if you want to hear it done concert live as well.
Concert in Mexico City during "Talk That Talk" ribbon confetti tangled them all up together and they commented on ribbons connecting them in this MV too, it is just their fate to be together.

So twice said there’s not much choreo for this song. There is a live clip version that you missed which is also exceptional. Hope you’re getting ready for the new comeback later this month

I love the visual storytelling this music video, the “red string of fate” especially. 1080p pointed out an example: the red sash in Momo and Dahyun’s dance scene! The myth refers to an invisible thread tied to a finger (I’ve seen the pinky most often) that connects to someone you’re destined to meet/your soulmate. There are other little references throughout the mv: Mina drawing on Tzuyu’s finger with a red pen, Nayeon and Jihyo linking their pinkies, and the red ribbon shows up again in the animated scene. I love the message saying, “we were always destined to be friends” and being platonic soulmates. Twice is family fr 🧡

Twice got you
There is guitar in the song. It is placed along with and behind their singing lines. It's slightly reverbed and just there for accent through most of the song, until the end after the bridge, when it becomes more prominent. This is my favorite english single as well because it pulls at the heartstrings, and it reminds me of Feel Special in sentiment. Great reaction.

'live clip' is good too. i love how they directing whom singing part, i mean, when Nayeon sing and Jihyo back her up (i think Jihyo, right?) and when Jihyo sing and Nayeon back her up. ('i got you' right?). also during Mina's part that they add a little filter remind me of the 'drowning' part. (also Jeonyeon's part when she move away from the window and cut to animation with the girls in the water, super emotional (at least to me anyway. :P))

Actually there's a little Difference between The audio or the Music Video and Live Version : obviously Jihyo Harmonised The Same For The Audio And The Live Version While Nayeon Singing The Chorus ,But There's a Difference With Nayeon Harmonise From Audio To The Live Version In The Audio Nayeon Harmonise The Full Chorus Like Jihyo But For Live Version Nayeon Harmonise Two Words Only Didn't Do It As It Should, it's a little Thing But You Can See The Difference If You Pay Attention.

I know you meant a cube (not a square) and you sound like a "the glass is half empty" kind a guy lol. I asked you with Jihyo's release and I'll ask again where's the K-pop in this song, nowhere this is pure POP. Tzuyu did great, you seem to have missed the low register of Dahyun and Momo they took turns hitting it BUT as always Jeongyeon NEVER gets her flowers she takes it up a notch and nothing. That's not just about you, only a very few reactors gave her any notice (heavy sigh). Oh and 1080p I love ships and the ocean which made this M/V very special to me. OT9
IMO I feel like Jeongyeon's vocals get slept on, she has the most stable voice in the group, she needs more lines......but overall I loved up the song
Chill Out ,jeongi is Not The Most Stable Voice in the group ,please Have Some Knowledge Before You Talking this is Not Biased thing, Jihyo is the Most Stable Voice in the group, Jihyo is A C Vocalist an Average Vocalist, While Jeongi and Nayeonie is A D+ Vocalists A Weak Vocalists. Which is Pretty Obvious.

Honestly I feel is because of LACK of VISIBILITY from JYPE
Also TWICE really couldn't promote this in KOREA ( if they had a KOREAN VERSION especially would have made a massive difference ) as they are touring
Trust me if this song was done by any newer GG, it would get multiple PAKS guaranteed sadly JYPE still is holding TWICE back a bit
