I get too triggered getting attacked here lol. Its not about the loss, its about the idea of a group of people in VC screaming out my world just to afk bolt rag me and do 1 way switches for a 20k split
6:00 You got this backwards: the *alt* needs to target chaos elemental, not the other way around (this is one of the requirements for red-x to prevent an NPC's movement). Chaos elemental's special "hunt mode" guarantees it will target the alt when it spawns (and retarget it on every subsequent tick) because it is the only account in its hunt range. This works because Chaos Elemental has an unusual hunt mode (shared with some other NPCs like Scorpia, Lizardman Shaman, Ice Demon, etc.) that targets a new random account within its hunt range every tick. This is exploitable here because the hunt range is smaller than its attack range, allowing a player to stand outside of the hunt range yet inside of the attack range. This is needed because if the main is outside of the attack range the Chaos Elemental will move on the one tick it targets the main after a flinching hit.
You can do this method with lizard shamans in the multizone too :) It's a great way to get a dwh! Can use 2 alts to kill 2 shamans at the same time, take a lot of setup though.

Ah, that makes more sense! I was doing the lizardman method the other day and it was finicky when I didn't attack
Also, you can toggle the "Automatically smash empty vials" option in the settings menu.

Probably not, they have left all the other red-x methods in the game for years (Shamans/cerb/baba/etc)
