    My first bass was a 60's Classic Vibe Jazz Bass I got back in 2009, it's a fantastic instrument and I still play it today!

    This product is the best value for money.
    Squier Classic Vibe series is more than worth the price.

    I have one. It’s a really pretty guitar and great for a starter. Neck pup and tone all the way down for me.

    I bought the 60s classic vibe precision bass in sunburst with a tortoiseshell pick guard; a wonderful instrument.

    Cv basses are really good for the price. If you are not picky about brand and focus on what feels good, I dare to say it is comparable to fender MIM

    Certainly a nice feeling jazz bass - suffers from a lot of pickup noise in my environment so I have to use noise killer pedal. Will likely put some EMGs Js on it.

    Does anyone know, any of famous song which recorded with this bass?
    And also any famous bassist who regularly uses this very bass for live performance on stage?
    Thanks in advance

    What are the differences between the Classic Vibe '60 and '70? Thank you

    • @philreid984
      @philreid984 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      The difference is the pickup spacing. The 70s spacing is about a 1/4" wider than the 60s. Fender moved the pickup back about a 1/4 of an inch because the ears of the bridge pickup stuck out passed the bridge cover and thought it was unsightly. But by doing that it gave the 70s jazz basses a brighter and less compressed sound of the 60's spacing.
      It was not intended to change the sound, just to make it look better under the bridge cover 😀

      @@iansmith9125 Nice man congratulations! I love those P-bases, I actually have been thinking about getting one, I played an AVRI ‘63 one and it was absolutely amazing. I couldn’t afford it at the time but I do have a CS 1960 Jazz bass in Inca silver :)
      I absolutely adore it, I want them bring back the AVRI P basses!!
