Eastern India ( odissa, West Bengal) prefer rice based. Even though south is unique to each of its state when comes to language but there are some cultural similarities like south part of Karnataka is culturally similar to Rayalaseema part of andra and north part of tamil nadu, north Karnataka is divided into 2 Hyderabad Karnataka and Bombay ( Mumbai) Karnataka ( which used to be part of this provinces before independence) are similar with Telangana and Maharashtra. The kerala and costal part of Karnataka (tulu nadu) has similar culture. As you are staying in Bangalore you should taste some delicious food which are part of south india. Idlli( you should try this south India breakfast with lot of sambar in a bowl 🥣 and dump 2 idllis in it and then savoring it with chutney on a side bowl using your spoon 🥄 make a small pieces of idlli and then dump it in chutney and eat it, you will love it) it is very healthy and their is no oil in it. Dosa is delicious but try Benne Dosa which is famous in Karnataka, puri you already know, Appam( kerala, Tamil nadu food), pongal (2 different types sweet and spicy)try it when you need to sleep, medu vada( follow the process of idlli here) don't ask your wife to taste it 😂 it's made in oil, upma ( there are different types of it ) simple recipe, Idiyappam( Kerala) based, Uttapam( i think you will love it, it is a thik form of dosa) puttu( another Kerala recipe all recipes i mentioned so far has less oil usage except for puri and vada) Akki roti ( Karnataka healthy breakfast and delicious too) Mysore bonda( good as evening snack too) and there are so many which i cant able to write here, chitranna should be feeded to your sweet daughter she will love it, you too love it i think so if you love rice based iteams, I don't know you will love it or not ragi mudde( made out of finger millets in the form of a ball) you should try it with mutton or chicken. I has to share with you more but its difficult sir, if you can provide your email i can send you links and food to taste. South food is less oily then northern food, & lostly you should definitely taste bisi bele bath it is more healthy then any dish because lot of vegetables are used to cook it.

Let me explain. After Arab colonization of Iran, Iranians lost their ancient belief system and also their language. The Arabs banned Farsi for 200 years. Within the last several hundreds years, there came an Iranian revival movement based on the great kings of Iran such as Kourosh (Cyrus) and Dariush (Darius). Iranians wanted to shed the taint of Arab colonization and began identifying with their heritage again. Honestly, the word Aryan also exist in Sanskrit and even in Ashokan edicts. But it is not a racial term but cultural. "Arya Sanskriti". For example in Buddhist scripts, the Buddha is considered the Supreme Aryan.
Many time Iranian can be racist but not in bad way they only love there land but they don't look up to down people like europian and Hitler for example Iraqis to tell each other fool and stupid and low level they call indian

Let me explain. After Arab colonization of Iran, Iranians lost their ancient belief system and also their language. The Arabs banned Farsi for 200 years. Within the last several hundreds years, there came an Iranian revival movement based on the great kings of Iran such as Kourosh (Cyrus) and Dariush (Darius). Iranians wanted to shed the taint of Arab colonization and began identifying with their heritage again. In ancient 500 BCE inscriptions, Dariush calls himself an Aryan and Kshatriya just like the ancient kings of India. So Iranians began reconnecting with their ancestry and heritage again, to differentiate themselves from the former Arab colonizers. That movement consisted of reinvigorating their ancestral pride and their founder, Cyrus the Great.
