Thanks for the game. First time watcher. It was a good hockey game. Feed back, wasn't fan of the music you played on top of the game, like no music would be nice. I was starting to worry there for a sec when it started that will it be with music whole time.
I feel as though if the PWHL playoffs started just after the NHL ends they'd get even more people on board. I'm already dreading next week (no hockey) and this is good hockey.
In my opinion, while I am ok with the current arenas, some of them, I would have considered elsewhere. This is what I think the arenas SHOULD have been: Boston: TD Garden (Boston MA) Minnesota: Xcel Energy Center (St. Paul MN) Montreal: Place Bell (Laval QB)/Verdun Auditorium (Montreal QB) New York: Barclays Center (Brooklyn NY)/UBS Arena (Elmont NY) Ottawa: TD Place Arena (Ottawa ON) Toronto: Coca-Cola Coliseum (Toronto ON)/Scotiabank Arena (Toronto ON) Also in my opinion, when the league gets its first expansion with it only having 6 teams, I think the first expansion teams should be the following: Chicago: Allstate Arena (Rosemont IL) Denver: Ball Arena (Denver CO)/Blue FCU Arena (Loveland CO) Philadelphia: Wells Fargo Center (Philadelphia PA) Washington: Capital One Arena (Washington DC)
Because there were only 24 games in the inaugural season. It made no sense to have best of seven for such a short season. Also, I'm sure cost was another factor as the league and team budgets weren't huge this year.
@@mattwho42 thank you for the insight. So, does this mean that if they start at a regular time time it will expand to seven. I just feel like there’s something missing with five games, it went so fast. Just as you’re building up steam it comes to an end. Power to our girls, they are beasts on the ice.
@@nzs316 If I were a betting man, I'd say it's possible to see a best of 7 in the 2026-2027 season. For the 2025 season, they announced it will go up to 32 games, so it'll prob be another best of 5. First few years, they'll be working on sponsors, testing markets, solidifying venues, analyzing revenue, ect. I agree though, best of 5 seemed short. I went to game 2 and 5 of the finals and I'm craving more haha.
@@katherineberger6329 Well I must say that they are off to a good start. All season here at home in Montreal they played to sell out crowds. Even at the Bell centre which is our hockey venue. It was incredible to see people all the way up to the rafters filling every seat. That’s 25,000 people. Imagine filled with screaming girls in the stands. Such a joy to see families with children being able to afford to go out to hockey game compared to having to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars for the NHL.

What a season. Congratulations MN. Looking forward to next season.
Great opening season and best of Minnesota continues to show its women are leaders in sports!

Also congrats Minnesota!
Still sad we lost, but at least I don't have to see people complain that the league is rigged anymore.
Is the full broadcast available somewhere?
❤❤ love to see it in person

Why do the Pro women have a 5 game best of and the men have best of 7.

@@mattwho42 The initial CBA is 8 years so I'm sure the league has a plan that will expand carefully.

If there was only some way to avoid the spoilers in the comments? Like, maybe turn commenting off? Great game, thanks heaps for the coverage!
