I have heard so many performances of this song, I am not able to count, and each more beautiful than the next. My playlist probably contains 20 different versions at least. And they all touch me so very deeply. When you hear the performances on his last 2020 concerts you will be even more amazed - it's hard to believe, but he is even better now.
One of my most favourite songs of Dimash too! I don't understand a word, but his musicality is extraordinary and the way he sings, or better said, the way he tells a story touches me deeply every time! I think the same like you, it's like he is painting with his voice! I saw him for the first time on TH-cam a few years ago, while searching for my most favourite female singer Lara Fabian... She too is a story telling singer. I hope they will sing more together!!

The whole song is a soul cry. Beyond any doubt the most wonderful heartfelt performance. It's quite literally a masterpiece. I cry every time. His voice is warm, gentle and yet painful and sobbing. Just beautiful!

Learned in a week ! Never spoken Chinese before. Very sad and popular song in China. Famous singer in China during 30’s and 40’s loved by public. Came out after end of WW2 that she was Japanese.She was deported and never allowed back. This was written about her . He is just so stupidly amazing!!!!!!! Just gets better as he gains more experience around the world. Igor Krutoy ( famous Russian composer and pianist)has taken him under his wing. He writes songs for Dimash and you can see him playing piano on a few of Dimash’s recent concerts

This has got to be the 2oth time I've heard this song and AGAIN, it made me cry. No one touches me like Dimash. I am 61 years old, love him, my 2 daughters 24 & 27 love him, and NOW my 2 granddaughters, 2 and 1 years old, yell "DIMASH" when they hear him singing and start singing along with him as well as someone that age can! lol. 3 generations right here in One family that are dears and that is says a lot about his talent considering our taste in music is quite different..Dimash breaks ALL barriers.
