Love the videos! I’ve learned so much about good practices for this kind of work. Would be great to see how you take care of your soldering iron tips at the end of the day. :)
Your videos are very informative, much appreciated
Really love your video. It so educational. From philippines.
I love your videos! I’ve been learning a lot from your experience and from your mistakes. thanks for sharing!!
one trick I learned is to put some flux over the wick solder and it goes very smooth. try it

Awesome has usual 🇬🇧👍
Great job 💪🙏
Awesome video, as always! I was wondering if in one of your next videos you could put a coin next to the components you work with... just to get a clear idea of how small they actually are. Thanks and keep up the great work! :D
super
good job
Watching your calm hand while soldering I feel positively jealous :) my hands are shaking and although I try to fix similar things - I am the best for making scrambled eggs :D :D :D but I will practice to calm down my hand :) keep going with excellent videos!

How can i choose a good soldering iron?

Is there a way to test the hdmi port with a multimeter in the event that it looks mint but is suspected of being a bad component? I've had a ps4 hdmi port that looked great but was bad and another that looked great but was still good.
Hi NorthridgeFix, I have a question for you. I recently acquired a Sony TC-K909ES 3 head cassette deck. When I record a cassette and play it on another deck, it sounds amazing, the bias, the treble and the bass is spot on. However, when i play the same cassette on the K909 or any other pre-recorded cassette, it sounds like the treble is all the way down. Very less treble. I checked everything I could think of, cleaned the heads (heads looks like new), checked the azimuth, tape paths, even replaced all the electrolytic caps in the unit. Nothing has changed. I even downloaded the service manual and i traced the path for the playback head. The pre-amp on this play back section uses a Mitsubishi IC 5220 (8pin) which is located right next to the playback head socked to the board. While playing back, when i place my finger near the IC or the socket, sort of a interference happens and i can hear the playback with the spot on treble. Might be just the interference causing it. Could this IC be defected and causing it to have low treble while playing back? Thought of changing the IC, would really like your input on this. Can a defected OpAmp IC cause it to have low treble? or high frequencies? I even unplug the play back head and plugged in the record head to the playback socket, level becomes really low but the same thing, no treble. So cannot be the head. As I said, OpAmp uses 3 electrolytic caps 220uF 50V which I have replaced. I believe the problem lies on the OpAmp somewhere. Please help my friend. I really need to get this fixed.
Clean job. What happend to the ECU? did you fix it already?
Quick fix, hope my hands are like yours😊😊 not shaking
nice job..... what type of solder do you use?
Wouldn't there be a video where you fix an Onkyo receiver with a DTS problem?
What’s the microscope camera model you are using? Also are you connected to a capture card or usb?

I have a connector to change. Going to make it better than factory. Luckily I have spares, so I can practice first
Awesome job.. I honestly don’t get it when someone gives this vid a thums-down.
Curious if any of the commissions you come across ellicit a WTF reaction, or whether you've pretty much seen it all.
How do we get the address to send you items? I have a pioneer hdmi board with crapped out ti chips. I have new chips but they are postage stamp ic. I cant do it.....hands shake.
How the hell does someone mess up a port that badly!
What solder do you use 185 Celsius (365 F) or lead free 220 Celsius (428 F) and what is the temperature of air heater if you use that on a chip or connector ??

Habibi how do you change soldering tips so quickly? Or do you have multiple on your desk?
Can i ask how your method to clean flux from the board?
Q-tip with isopropyl alcohol is my guess. The flux is quite thick and sticky at first but eventually the alcohol cleans up the board really nice. Use the 99% stuff as there is quite a bit of water in the 70% stuff.
Q-tips (ear cleaner)& 95%or above alcohol (IPA), if it doesn't come off try reheating the part where the flux is then immediately apply IPA and it should come right off.
HEY! I wanna hear.... The Job is done! ... lol
EZ Clap (sorry I thought I was watching on Twitch!)
Greetings from Azerbaijan.Which tip you used at this process? Must be so tiny 🤔
Finally a new video 😘
better than factory
Soldering the back 4 spots has always made me wonder, what is the purpose of those soldering spots? An electrical ground? Or just to hold the HDMI port to the board?
please can you do lesson about oscilloscope, how to test components with it?
What is that liquid you pure before soldering?? And what does it do??

is using leaded solder bad for ur health?
Which soldering iron machine you use sir.?
What should I buy if my budget is very low..
You can say nothing but still I will manage 💰 money.
I want to work on multiple boards and PCB or small components and as well as big.
So guide me as per it 😉
How much for this job?
You would think by now, hdmi ports would be more securely attached to the board. The amount of failures that occur would indicate that many just aren't fit for purpose.
what kind of flux you use?
