When Dallas sream in that song gives me chill. He took his own way because that's what be felt he had to do at the times and he listened to his gut feeling. Does who don't understand are just selfish thinking he shouldn't have gone his own way. But they're still giving sign of life lately good sing :)
I had no idea he could actually sing this well live, I’m really impressed. I was also this old when I realized he’s also of “City and Colour”. I can’t believe I didn’t hear the similarities before (cuz I don’t really care for C&C)
This song has never been more relevant than now, I like many others work my hands till they bleed to provide for my family amid this skyrocketing cost of living. Mismanagement and a corrupt as fuck government heaping on the taxes and inflation, robing me of my buying power, putting less and less food on my table. I hear this song and I fucking cry for the middle class who is being financally slaughtered. This song means soo fucking much to me.
It's disgusting I agree. The fact that in 2023 we are still expected to slog it out 30-40 hours a week (if not more) just to afford a basic standard of living is a DISGRACE. I refuse to participate. I do the bare minium. Thankfully don't have any kids to look after and can rely on family for housing for now. It's a messed up world we live in.
Imagine grinding for years and getting to the point of being one of the biggest post hardcore bands in the world and then walk away from it at the peak of success to pursue a boring as fuck folk career
I love when Dallas screams in this song.
Can we take some time to appreciate just how intricate the drumming is to this song, Jordan, sir you are a beast
He doesn't get a single break
Dallas is fucking killing it so hard!
That second “brother” Dallas throws outs will forever give me goosebumps
hahah he noted the first one was a little weak, so he make It out on the second haha
God I love these guys, CC and Alexisonfire, I'd want both of these projects forever if I could have it that way.

I love those 5 guys. But Dallas is like the miracle and bringing the unexpected.
Yeah like breaking up his superior band and pursuing a career in mediocre folk music
