I think Travis head and Marsh are key for Australia from a morale point of view. If India can get them out cheaply, that’s a huge morale boost. I don’t agree - just the pedigree and the bloody-mindedness of the Aussies make them the favorite. Indian bowlers, though good, do not belong in the “great” category - they choked in 2 test matches against England and SA when India were on the cusp of winning test series. They will choke on the big occasion and when put under the sword. As for the batters, you only need a bouncer to get the king out in a crunch game. Virat does not fire in knock outs, save for the last semifinal. Aussies look far superior in the field too - with the Indians spilling several chances and them being faultless in the Eden.
Comparing different formats and different conditions doesn’t make much sense. Much of this bowling attack has also won test matches in Aus in two tours.
It is wonderful to be a naysayer when you are unaccountable. Just pulling down your national team for the sake of doing it and be able to thump your chest later on the off chance that you find yourself on the right side of the prediction must be fun for you. Aussies need to break the backbone of the Indian Team which isn't gonna be easy 😂😂. On the other hand even if Aussies get a start Kuldeep n Ashwin gonna break the Aussies backbone. Bumrah n Shami can control the last 10 overs if there are any batters left. Aussies won't even last for 40 overs😂😂

Because India have been so dominant, the narrative in 2003 was how could India beat Australia. All India need to do is play the way they have been.
I don’t agree - just the pedigree and the bloody-mindedness of the Aussies make them the favorite. Indian bowlers, though good, do not belong in the “great” category - they choked in 2 test matches against England and SA when India were on the cusp of winning test series. They will choke on the big occasion and when put under the sword. As for the batters, you only need a bouncer to get the king out in a crunch game. Virat does not fire in knock outs, save for the last semifinal. Aussies look far superior in the field too - with the Indians spilling several chances and them being faultless in the Eden.

Comparing different formats and different conditions doesn’t make much sense. Much of this bowling attack has also won test matches in Aus in two tours.
It is wonderful to be a naysayer when you are unaccountable. Just pulling down your national team for the sake of doing it and be able to thump your chest later on the off chance that you find yourself on the right side of the prediction must be fun for you. Because if you are wrong, nobody will remember your prediction anyway. Pedigree in the context of the sport means less than you think.

I would be proud if Kuldeep throws up the ball and asks Marsh to hit him. I would be proud if Bumrah and Siraj hold on to their catches. We will see if that happens, because it hasn’t in the past. Conway hits 2 boundaries and you take out 2nd slip. Next over, Ravindra knicks one exactly where that fielder was. I’m just an observer, not a fanatic.

There is no point airing your private fears as concerns and attracting negative attention. This team, more than any other Indian World Cup team in history that has not won the cup (yet), has done enough to deserve respect and admiration. The entire world is doing it. Why can't we? I can understand that we as a collective tend to be superstitious and wary of good things even when they are staring us in the face, but for once, enjoy this new sensation! Even if the team somehow does not manage to lift the cup tomorrow, it has done enough not to be ridiculed.
