You could’ve just ran the extension cord from your inverter to the outside plug on your truck to get power to the inside of your truck to plug your microwave up in the inside sockets

Look for the manual. Should be one in the truck. There is a fuse box under the top of desk. Open the cup holder and Un screw to lift I believe. May need to youtube it if you don’t have a manual. Good luck Slick
Not sure. I plugged in from my truck to inverter then the inverter went to plug outlets in truck. Seems like you may be able to bypass inverter possibly. Let me know what you find out. Good luck
Yes, I took it to my home terminal and they just turned it on. I was supposed to hold down on the power button for a few seconds before it turned on. I kept clicking it instead. Have a fridge microwave, and air fryer now.
Driver side by the side door where you store things there should be a shore power plug source on outside of truck. You take a extension chord and plug it into that then the other end you plug into your inverter. You can close the side door in the extension chord it won’t hurt it. Now you have power to all your 120 volt plug outlets in your truck. Hope that helps.
In this video I basically used an extension chord to the microwave via inverter. But now I have plug outlets in my truck so plugged my extension chord into my inverter then shore power then all my outlets in truck work. There was outlet near my microwave so I plugged it into the outlet now.
@@jevinayson8245 when u use the microwave make sure the engine is on if not it will drain the battery faster. But fyi even police patrols cars have a different batteries for their gadgets
That microwave should be on the other side. Has a strap to lock down. And in back behind the drawers, you'll see 2 plug outlet to plug it in.😮😊

what size of microwave is that bc I have a Volvo too but I had taken down the tv stand to make it. but I don't have enough room for the tv stand now

The truck series watt unit did that come with the inverter or did you have to buy that as well.
2018 came with inverter for company drivers. You can add microwave, TV and fridge if you like. At your expense.

Trouble shoot. Does the lights on microwave come on when you open the door. May not have power set up right.
