I actually talked to one of the employees this month and ask hey can you tell me what you have in stock what is literally the cheapest and they had no problems doing that and giving me a list of all the stuff that were cheap.
That’s really great to hear! All too often I hear about employees not being helpful enough which just shows lack of passion and ethic. I had a good experience this week myself so here’s hoping customer service is on an upward spike. Thanks for watching this!
@@Emceemur it's all about making connections I go there pretty frequently I talk to them I made friends with the employees. So they work with me a little bit. Sometimes just a little bit of kindness goes a long way.
That’s extremely good advice! Retail work is stressful and they don’t get paid much. Making them feel appreciated and some politeness is definitely mandatory to succeed in long term dealings. Good points, man!
Dude these videos encouraged me to start a physical Xbox One collection, in March 2022 I had 4 physical games, I now have 22. Some highlights were Viktor Vran Overkill edition (all dlc and some art cards) for £1.99 and Metro Redux for £4. Will I play these? Maybe, do they look nice on my shelf? Definitely
I’ve been wanting to start the Metro games! And Vran looks good too, I have that one digitally. I’m glad you’re enjoying the series! Its a great time to collect gen 8 titles on the cheap. A forced gen 9 and over abundance of AAA titles have pushed the library overall into what I refer to as a “premature garbage phase”. Where the software is still state of the art but holds no value.
Two months and haven't been able to get anything for 5 bucks. The munchkin gets a cheap squishmellow though. lol July we will be in ATL for SFGE so maybe a shot then. The selection at the stores around me just stink. New month now so we have a whole month to try again. The hunt continues.
Some stores are just like that. I definitely have my preferred locations. Some are a reflection of the clientele. No one in the demographic of people who bring in good trades, etc. So it becomes a Funkopop hole.
Yeah, I’m sorry about that. We went on vacation and production got backed up. Now I’m playing catch up. And you make a great point that these vids can serve as reminders as well. Adulting eats a month right up and it’s easy to forget to go get your game. Should be smooth sailing on production now tho. Thanks for being here, buddy!
I appreciate that. But yeah, my lack of consistency on uploads is disappointing to me too. Lots of content coming soon tho! I’m grinding out some real heat right now.
Nice! Yeah, Siege is pretty fun so far. I wanna pick up Extraction too but I’ll wait for a sale. Tom Clancy games rule. I’m playing Ghost Recon Breakpoint too.
Another free snag to the collection! Not my style of game but in the minority when you know how popular that game is! And you're absolutely right about more deals coming on the later half of this year especially near the Holidays! Great video and keep up the good work!
Holidays are gonna get crazy. Because we’ll see less mainstream titles hit these marks. The challenge still lies in finding the physical stock but I have 5 GameStops near enough to make that more probable.
I shouldn’t know the answer to that but I have kids in 2022. It’s a Roblox mini game where you try to blow bubbles the size of Jupiter through the micro transaction purchases of “better gum”. Yes. I’m being for real. LOLOL
I’m tellin ya! There’s a few of those I need to go back and finish & a few I have yet to play. Then you have multiplayer powerhouses like Titanfall 2 With just enough active community to still be amazing.
Are you sure you don’t have the coupon though? And I should have clarified, it isn’t a physical coupon or something that you get in an email or anything like that. It is tethered to your card and when they scan you in at the register you ask them to use the coupon and they redeem it with a button press. I have also encountered employees that didn’t know what I was talking about. But if you have a manager check you may just have the coupon on your account. Let me know if you do!
They actually had a Vita game in the handheld game case?!?!?! I tried to squint but I couldn't make out what it was. The app is freaking terrible now since they updated it. I always research on the website nowadays, easier to change the filters.
@@Emceemur On the website under the price range options, you can do a custom range and do it from $0-$5. It's the bottom option to choose. I usually just go to video games/preowned (instead of picking a console so it gives all options.). Set my range, then set it to lowest to highest. Works well on the computer, struggles sometimes on my moble...
Right?!! I’m not done with any of those yet! We’ve reached a unique period in the gaming evolution where titles can simultaneously be obsolete AND state of the art! Which gives us our delicious price points.
They did that to me too! Im like, nah bruh lol. They always try to sell me a new copy and that’s the opposite of what GameStop employees are supposed to do. The margins are on preowned products. Of course unless they’re free. Lol
Rainbow six is fun! I own it on Xbox and PC. Game NEEDS cross progression for sure. I’m sure you could add Titanfall 2 in this as well, usually it’s pretty cheap.
I’m glad! This content doesn’t get watched as much but it’s gonna reveal some market surprises and tie in with the flippin content. And I really enjoy making it.
You obtain the pro card from the cashier for $15. That immediately nets you $10 in rewards points as well as immediate access to the coupon for that month. So it pays for itself many times over. And thank YOU for watching!
I know you’re right, I meant that in a very bare bones sort of way, in that all the buttons seemed to do the same things. I know I have to learn all the gadgets and skills if I wanna survive in objective based combat which honestly, isn’t my strong suit. But so far this is fun! Thanks for watching this!
That’s just it though. They do love it. Because they want people buying the pro cards and they’re more concerned with customer metrics than with bottom lines. They have been for like 15 years now. It’s their system so no one’s conning anyone. If we’re all pro members in their books and we all have a free game each month, then everyone is winning given both perspectives.

Nice Episode I enjoy this one too.
I'm the sick with pancreatic issues. Nice video Mcmurr.
I hope you’re doing better. And I’m glad you’re enjoying the show. Are things improving for you?
I knew this episode was coming! Lol.. Have a great holiday brother
You too, T! I’m having ribs & slaw today!

I can't wait to see at the end of the year the total value of free games. Good stuff as always
Me too! I can only imagine the fire we’re gonna add during the holiday sales/months. It’s gonna be amped!
Ohh yeah free games. I'm in!! Great video Mur!!!
Why not, right? So many ways we can make GameStop work for us. All my gen 8 consoles were FREE. Because I hustle Gamestop. It’s a beautiful thing.
Such a good series! Go Mur!!!
I’m glad you think so. It gets a lot less attention but there’s a lot to learn in this series. Next episode has a surprise market twist!

Got injustice 2 for PS4 this month
That’s a great pick! I really love Injustice. I loved Justice League Task Force on Genesis so when Injustice first launched, my jaw hit the floor.

All canada gets is a very small discount of a few things in the store. Like max $1 Its not worth it.
