A lawyer told us the fee for a will is 3 % . If I have 100 items averaging averaging 250,000 pesos. That is a complex will with lots of extensive explanations. Cost: 750,000 pesos according to percentage fee and hours of preparation. If I have a 25 million peso building only, it id a simple will but the fee is 750,000 pesos maybe 2 hours of preparation for the same fee?
@@glenncaesar Also, in the USA, the average person who owns a house can have a will made up for $500 or less. The lawyer doesn’t ask “how much is your house worth?” If its a $100k condo in Bakersfield or a $1M ranch home in Huntington Beach, the cost is the SAME.
@@philam1973 well that is USA, you cannot compare 2 countries Laws that way. what may be okay on that place will not be okay on the other. Sovereignty as they say.
@@glenncaesar my point is charges, not how the laws are different. Additionally, I found law offices who did not charge based on how rich a client was. Obviously, there could be higher fees if there are extenuating circumstances.

it's not the time they spent in making the will you are paying but the time they spent learning how to make a notarial will valid.
@@glenncaesar the 2 cases shouldn’t be the same price.
