You said that's a drop down tire carrier. Show me how it drops down. ...more importantly, show me how it goes back up. (It looks heavy)
At 3:18 it briefly shows how it lowers. To bring it back up remember to keep a straight back and lift with the legs!
@@subitopoco VERY briefly indeed. And how do you remove that top rod that is apparently supporting it? Pins? It will be under load while removing the pins. Will it drop suddenly when I remove a pin? Do I need someone else to take the weight off the tire while I pull the pin? How do I put the pin in after i lift the tire back up? Lots of details missing in that brief clip of an empty tire carrier.

It would be far more beautiful if top were full square like ford bronco, unfortunately humvee and hummer 1 cabin have small space for passengers, rear passenger can't sit comfortably.
