I had been sitting on an idea for this one for a few months but needed a little extra something to complete that idea. Luckily, Lorenzo stepped in and helped me flesh it out while adding his own creative spin to the guitars and drums. Song is up on all major stores and streaming platforms: song.link/LamentOfOrpheus
I really can't understand half the comment section's arguments but I will speak for myself. I 've heard every cover of Hades' songs, and have put them on noumerous playlists on Spotify and such. But there came today that I needed to hear a certain "Don't look back" that I ve heard before. I couldn't help it, I truly needed it NOW. I went to the original to no avail, so I kept searching and searching and OH MY GOD it was this one! A f***ing tear slipped through when the cover ended so I just went and replaced the original(sorry Darren, I love you too) in almost every playlist with this. I couldn't help it. The guitar solo at the end adds so much to your voice and the distortion was just right to hit right in the feels. And oh my god that flute. When I heard the flute part after "...beside me." I was like this is it this is the one I'm sure of it! Then the double voice just took me in the song so much that I just stopped doing whatever and listened to the whole thing and felt it to the godamned core. No I wasn't crying you were! You guys NAILED the crescento that the song desperately needs in order to work, and not only did I not miss anything but the flute worked to ADD to the original crescento. The sudden double voice that became more complicated as the song progressed also added ANOTHER layer on the crescento and-oh-my-god-I'm-writing-too-much. I also realised that i had absolutely loved another one of your Hades' covers so I don't know, either you 're truly one with these songs or I'm just becoming a huge fan..or both. Also be yourself, I saw the video too and the passion of your music is perfectly reflected. Cheers! Congrats again!
Yes!! 12 string acoustic guitar 😍 beautiful. Vocals are so clean and spread so nicely! Love how the electric breaks up the sections as well as the flute counterlines
I loved every second of it, awesome work! One thing I like about the original though, is that the vocals are so in front. Here, the instruments sometimes overwhelm the vocals, which is a pity, not to say any of it were other than great, of course.
You're talented, but this was rough to sit through for me. The arrangement lost everything appealing to me of the original (i think it was the bassline and flute that killed it) and the video was just awkward.
So much of the voice of the original shines through it, a lot of covers try too hard to "make it their own." You strike a fine balance, well done!

This version sounds like a boss stage. Damn I wish I can change the BGM with my battle with Hades to this one. It's mesmerizing ^_^

Thank you, Nico!! Means a lot ☺️
This kinda reminds me of Evanescence, it’s so cinematic and dark!
Cool comparison! I used to listen to them a lot in Highschool
I was thinking the same thing! She sounds very similar to Amy Lee
More hades covers, yes good

Wow guys 🤯 Fantastic cover 👍
Thank you, Thomas!!
I've been waiting for this one :D Simply amazing
Solid cover! It gives me Mastadon vibes with all those moody, driving guitars. Your voice is so regretful too, you really suit it to the song!
Amazing, I love it!!!
Yay! Thank you!
YESSSS 👍 I still need to do heat 32 and gift nectar to everyone
Amazing cover, the arrangement is really refreshing, you got a new subscriber
Thank you!! I think the necklace was a gift from a long time ago. Glad others can appreciate it :)

Thanks so much! Have you heard the underground mix of this one? I find the vocals (especially Eurydice's) to be less in front in that version
Where is the red lipstick? :P
Hahaha! Gotta switch it up sometimes
I'm only 23 but thinking of find more mature women after seen how many talent you have, fucking great cover, all my love for inspired musicians
