Thank you mam, in the book, the formula is different 1 -6 SUM(D2 / N(N2 -1)) but have written as 1-6 SUM(D2 / N3 -N). N3 i can understand N(N2) is same as N3. Why -N not -1. i have applied book formula the answer is 0.9 but your answer is 0.899. please answer why -N instead -1 as per book formula
Formula that I used is 1- 6∑d^2/n^3 - n
and Book formula is 6∑d^2/n(n^2 -1)
Both these formula are same only.
We can simplify n(n^2 - 1) as n^3 - n.
Bcoz we can multiply n with the values which is inside the bracket.
n×n^2 = n^3
and n × -1 = -n
So i used this (n^3 - n) simplified thing in the formula. Both these give you same answers only.
You said u got 0.9 and my answer is 0.899.
You can round off this 0.899 as 0.9. So finally, the answer is same only.
