    I love how honest you are about the setbacks and random intrusive thoughts during a build. Most people on youtube breeze past this stuff like nothing went wrong and it's really discouraging, you know? But you? You remind the rest of us that yeah, making stuff isn't a straight line from points A to B. Thank you for your candor and humor.

  • @Angelsilhouette
    @Angelsilhouette 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +95

    As a compressed gas rapidly decompresses, the temperature drops substantially. The vapour puffs you're seeing is the moisture in the air briefly condensing due to the rapid cooling.
    That's an oversimplification, but it should get the idea across.
    Also, it's great to see another video from you! Hope to see more soon. :)

    • @Chrisamic
      @Chrisamic 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Came here to say this. When you compress a gas it heats up as you push the molecules closer together. The temperature then normalises to ambient temp while it sits in the tank. It follows then, that the temperature will decrease when the pressure is released and this results in cooling. Colder air can not carry as much humidity, so it condenses out as a mist. Why two puffs? I think the high pressure air initially gives a more rapid drop in pressure so we see vapour in the exhausted gas. The rest of the water condenses in the manifold but is blown out a fraction of a second later by the lower pressure exhausting out of the reservoir at a slower rate.
