I nanny for a family with a two year old and they are usually home too! It took a little bit for the little boy to get comfortable enough with me in order to not run to his mom or dad when he saw them. It did get better though so good luck! :)

im a full time nanny for three kids (twins coves age, and a 3.5 year old) and both parents work from home, i absolutely am SO thankful that the parents are there bc they do a lot for making lunch and just being there if needed. but when they need to work we just make sure that they're in off limits rooms (the mom and dad's offices) and all the kids are actually really good w understanding that when the parents are working they cant hang out w them!! i try to have them actually say bye mom and bye dad when its time for the parents to "go work". then they get soooo excited when the parents come back out to hang out w them!! hope this can help at all w establishing your work boundaries when you do have a sitter
I had a fall around 26 weeks and was high risk the rest of my pregnancy. I had 2 ultrasounds a week until 40 weeks from that point, including a few MFM ultrasounds, and NEVER ONCE saw her face. I joked that we could’ve made a flip book of her face from how many ultrasounds we had but she was fully covering her face in all of them!! She’ll be one on 8/20 and her stubbornness has only gotten bigger hahaha
My baby girl was the same way! She was breech the first visit and had her hands infront of her face and then we went back and she was the same way a month later! She was camera shy! Unfortunately she came 7 weeks early so we never got the perfect 3D pic!

My 20 month old loves that preschool book. He knows all the colors, shapes, numbers. I highly recommend it. Never too early to learn!
