It is an archievement, because of centralized nature of gorvernment. In western world, they have a decentralized government hence local municipalities or counties do the roads.

@@jakebrooks6312 so were there no leader in Ghana since 1992. Or they were all blind those times to see that there is going to be a problem in roads so they should do most of the roads and build accommodation that can help them today. That is why Ghana is always making people waste their years and lives when they are sitting on money as earlier said by nana addo. When you rule dumb people you suffer. Imagine all this years common roads there was no common double roads in Ghana since independence till kuffuor time. Only nkrumah did tema motor way. The only road that has stay for more than sixty years but still better than even 90% of Ghanaian roads. The only president who has done many roads is nana addo but it has to compete international level not like those roads that looks like gutters. After all the hard work that Ghanaian do those fools who were in the office those years what did they do in Ghana. They sell everything to the extent of selling even the airport. The only thing that was left for Ghana was our national anthem and the land.

The main complaint of the returnees are the roads and potholes in the capital cos these things are not found where they are coming from.
Again Ghanaians should learn to pay taxes when they fall due.
I live in the UK, and you will be taken to court if you do not pay your property tax. After that you will not get any credit facilities cos you will have a criminal record after the court conviction.
LET ALL HELP TO MAKE GHANA GREAT AND STRONG.

After these main roads, attention should then be focused on roads in the residential areas as well please. We need to be able to go to our homes during the rainy season. At least all the untarred roads in Accra should be tarred by proper contractors, not bogus one who know people at the top.

Ghana is not even on the top 30 African countries with good road network. After Nkrumah, it appeared all succeeding leaders had no vision, except Busia who was in office for under two years. Botswana, Rwanda, Cote d'Ivoire are in the top 5. Cape Verde, the tiny island on the north west of Africa is in top 10, together wit Senegal and Kenya. So just stop the blabbing and fix the trunk roads. Real infrastructural tangibles are embedded in trunk roads facelift e.g. accra/kumasi, kumasi/sunyani, accra/cape coast, Cape Coast/kumasi etc etc. It is repugnant seeing politicians paying lip service and gloating over spittle. My experience visiting Ghana over the years just demonstrated the same old political chicanery encapsulated in phoney portrayal of achievements. Ouattara is busy building super Inter regional highways whilst Ghana politicians are reduced to sitting on radio and TV spinning bullcraps. Most MPs have nothing to show for over two decades representing their poor folks. Learn something from your fellow African leaders, not even from us in the West.
