There was research done in my country about this as well. When a woman dies, goes to jail or is sick her female relationships are the most important. A man regardless of his relationship to the woman (mother, sister, or wife) will not stick around for the most part. So, women need to treat their daughters right, because the men in their life will leave them high and dry the majority of the time.
Honestly at the beginning, she deserved what she got for treating that girl so badly. But I'm glad she cleaned it up. Plus, why was the second brother playing dead at the end, his eyes were still blinking while they were closed. 😂

This is LEGIT the most realistic storyline of these youtube cdramas: the mom wasn't horrible to the daughter, but trusted the brothers would take care of the younger sister; the brothers got busy with their own lives and didn't pay as much attention to the mom, but didn't totally neglect her either; the grandkids treating their grandma based on what they were told/taught, and preference being given to boys over girls (i'm the oldest of 3 but preference is given to my brother). Not to mention someone finally someone said it- stop walking in the middle of the road, what did you expect to happen?!
I work in a nursing home and BOY I have seen this kind of treatment that some children do to their old parents 😢 it’s very painful and heartbreaking to see them be treated like that.
I have volunteered in an old age home for a long time, the worst thing parents can do is give up their wealth and lifetime savings to their children while thinking about selfless love. Its sad how many old people still keep looking towards the door because they are under the impression that they were forgotten by mistake and family is desperately trying to find them.
