  • Here is my review of Singapore Airlines SQ256, Brisbane to Singapore, August 2022. The flight time was 8 hours, 10 minutes in duration . On the way to Singapore, the airline served lunch and a snack, as well as various opportunities for drinks. Unfortunately, I didn't get any footage of the snack offered!
The flight staff were kind, professional and helpful. I found the flight to Singapore far better than my all nighter return flight, as the service and offerings were more comprehensive than on my return journey. I have always enjoyed flying with Singapore Airlines and this was my first journey with them, since the onset of the Covid pandemic.
Some aspects of the flight and service have changed, however, I think the high quality standards of Singapore Airlines have been maintained and they have done a great job in light of the difficulties experienced throughout the pandemic.

    Very good review.
I flew the SQ A350 (Mediuk Haul) from Singapore to Guangzhou and the service was great.
Ups: the in flight map was excellent - display innovative features including the latitude and longitude, tail registration number, flight number, date of flight, bearing. As well you can pan through nearest cities and get the information (population, elevation, time and distance from plane). You can also change from imperial to metric. You can also watch a movie/TV simultaneously whilst watching the flight map.
Downs: the medium haul A350 does not have the live TV. Only the long haul and ultra long haul a350 have the live tv.
Fun fact: the a350 (Medium Haul) runs on Thales Avant Up, while the Long Haul and ULR A350 run on Panasonic ex3. Singapore Airlines entertainment screens are in HD, which is a bonus.

They are a very good airline. I have enjoyed flying with them since my first Singapore Airlines flight in 2013.

In July 22 I flew Singapore airlines , and I agree with one comment about the food stand was very bad. In economy class no breakfast was served on an overnight flight . The seating was very poor the distance between seats were very Narrow. .I will think twice before booking again .

I flew on SQ airlines from Brisbane to Bangkok just late last year and I kinda agree that the meal standards are lacking. On the flight back from Singapore to Brisbane, we didn’t even get the second meal service on an 7.5 hour flight like they used to do. Good video

Hi Nic, thank you so much for reviewing this. I was wondering, do you know if Wi-Fi is available in the economy class? and I'm unable to comprehend why Singapore Airlines doesn't offer Premium Economy class for flights from Brisbane. it's only available from Sydney.

Hi Ali, thanks for your comment! As of the last time I flew with Singapore Air, wifi was not avaliable for economy class passengers. I agree with you wholeheartedly, Premium Economy is not avaliable on many flights departing from Brisbane. However, you can get Premium Economy from Singapore to Amsterdam on Singapore Airlines, which I have done before. It would also be good if Emirates could offer their Premium Economy from Brisbane to Dubai, which would make that 14 hour flight more bearable! Thanks for watching :)
