One does not simply pam-pam pamperam your way into the house of respite. It's wooden gates are guarded by more than just orcs... There are scripted farts there which never sleep, and the great brown eye is ever fartful. It is an unreachable wasteland, riddled with weirdos and bikini butts. The very air you breathe is a false move you will regret.
That note on the post outside literally tells you to do this. It says something along the lines of "formal attire required". Not the exact words, but you get the sentiment.
This is why it's important to read scripts, letters and books. I remember reading something about Nilfgardians protecting a Villa and only allowing their own kind to enter.

Yup. I've parkoured into Crow's Perch during my 2-nd playthrough to avoid the stupid underground tunnel entrance. W3 is the only game where parkour is such that I can't quite tell where the devs intended it to be an choice, and where it just happened to be. I'm thinking it's largely the former because there are certainly chests with loot in places accessable only via parkour - so the devs incentivise it for sure.
I can't remember if I ever did this. That was a clever trick and a cool thing to add to the game. This is a brilliant game. I must have spent 460 hours on it and I never felt bored. I'm tempted to play again from the beginning and make other choices.
It also took me around 9 years. I got in wearing the Nilfgaardian nobleman outfit that you get in Vizima. BTW if you meditate while in the house of respite, some of the inhabitants will have changed or moved places.
Reasons like this (I knew this from someone telling me) are why this will always be my all time favorite game ever. Baldur’s gate 3 is a close second. But nothing will ever beat Witcher 3 for me.
I was wearing the armor in my first playthrough and just strolled in like it was nothing. Took me a minute to figure out what happened on my second playthrough when i wasnt wearing it and couldnt get in.
theres a 2nd way in there on horse back take your horse to the gate at a side ways angle dis mount and you will appear other side of the gate, to get out, go on the roof and jump over the fence behind the inn
Currently doing another play through. As much as it pains me, I’m going to end up choosing Triss for the first time ever, after 5 times playing this game. Yen is forever though.
I did it first playthrough and was highly disapointed as I thought that there would be some hidden stuff there (dialogues, quests, gwent games) but there is nothing there.
If you jump behind/on the left guard at the gate, you can get stuck but Geralt will keep rocking back and forth as he gradually sinks lower and lower. Sometimes it'll make you go so low that you fall through the world. Anyway, it's completely useless, but kinda funny to watch.
I knew about this trick I didn't do it that way thow. I used roach. The only thing I wasn't able to figure out was if it was ever possible to get past those two guards @1:44 I've always been dying to get into that room.
I actually managed it years ago by jumping over and over from a certain spot but there was nothing interesting to do other than peep at the guest in the back
I used the house trick go get in Here is how to do IT 1. KO all the guardsmen 2ride roach 3 make roach head go intip the doors 4get of roach now you are in😊 But u r Stuck😂
Oftentimes I wonder if I actually played this game
Same men, wth. I played it 400 hours with like 4 or 5 playthroughs. Never believed I’d see a video that makes my jaw drop
Exactly the same feeling I have every time I see an witcher 3 video in YT!
Hey, he forced to just by showing this, don’t blame yourself 😂
I'm wondering the same 😂😂
300 hours and I don’t think I”ve even seen this place at all. :D
Alright fine, I'll do another damn playthrough
Same....
😂
hahha was thinking the same
Time for my 8th play through
yeah you missed a lot here, 5 NPCs sitting around
No hidden gwent game. That's just sad.
I was an absolute gambler. Needed to get all the deck. Sad that there wasn't another one
Yeah, this is great and all but it seems like a wasted opportunity to add something interesting in there instead of just another tavern
He didnt even played the merchent once, otherwise the colouring would been diffrent of the text.. What a poor guy man.
@@iluvatar4244 I'd be happy with just another npc to play against. With maybe a bit higher than the norm for that zone stakes or something.
Not good
It also works with the clothes you get in the beginning of the game at the Palace of Vizima as they count as Nilfgaardean noble attire.
That's awesome
I see.
1: Adorn a clever disguise.
2: Endure another scripted fart
3: Pam Pam-pamperam your way inside.
Dont forget to throw in a fart when you pass

weren't there supposed to be a ton of missions w/ the nilfguardian army, but most of them were cut to speed up development
The main quest story line was speed up after battle of kaer morhen.
