Maybe it is the random and less oft video drops, but this channel has become my most anticipated boat builds. Not a sailboat, and not fine-furniture that I can't relate to.

Great to see another video pop up. I love your project and the videos. Don't be shy on showing that port side bottom planking. Me personally, I would love to watch more content even if it is repetition of work.
    :)

Hi Scott, what a beautiful project, thanks for sharing the content.
from a safety point of view, i would recommend to NOT wear gloves, while working with stationary machines, they could pull your hands into the rotating blades.... just a tip ;-)

Makes my skin crawl every time I see it. I've seen pictures of the injuries. It's ugly.

Definitely this. Those power tool portions always make me cringe. Especially that miter saw without the guard that wasn’t in this video.
Keep up the progress though man. Please just take care of those fingers! 😊

Long sleeves are to be avoided as well, for the same reason. If they are pretty tight you can get away with it, but you should never wear anything baggy or puffy.

Great work you have going on..
It is fine that you use respiratory protection because of dust. But when you sand with a machine without extraction, the dust particles will be in the air up to 48 hours after you have stopped sanding.
Just an information, take care of yourself
    Regards Per

The carling is probably not going to be 90 degrees to the decking. That may put a wrench in your flush trim router bit idea. It's all coming together and looking great!

Have you seen the Costal Queen Restoration series? TH-cam channel by Peter Slack? They show what they are doing with a Maryland style of double bottom planking. Also other information on where they found rot and other great wood working.
