- I headed into the Peak District to find the secret waterfall Swallet. Waterfall Swallet is a waterfall just outside of Eyam and Foolow in the Peak District, UK. It is an hidden waterfall right near the main road, but due to how is sits in a sink hole, its a secret waterfall many dont know about.
To make things interesting, I decided to use water directly from Swallet Waterfall to make my coffee.

After that crack I could here what I thought was voices. A great place for a brew. It is amazing that all that water just disappears into the cave systems. I came across from Claire's channel at Wildbeare. One suggestion, if I may, the sound quality with the mic umplugged was absolutely perfect. There seems to be a clipped dulling of the sound with the mic. Irregardless I've subscribed as we smaller channels should help each other out. Hint, hint. Plus I love all the Peak District hikes. I went to Waterfall Swallet. No weird experiences. The water wasn't as high and I parked along the road from it at a pull in. But this was definitely a nice hike to get there. Looking forward to seeing more videos. Thanks for sharing. New Subscriber here.
Something definitely spooked me down there. The mic wasnt the best but I have invested in a much better dji mic. Glad you enjoyed it.
Stunning walk! Thanks!
Thanks, have you ever been?
@@brewswithviews Never. Thanks for the inspiration though! 😅
I bet maybe a bit of claustrophobia being in there between the cliffs was playing on your mind as well.
Yes, I think the loud bang initially set my mind off
I wouldn't mind having that in my backyard, best coffee water on earth!?!
It definitely was a great cup or coffee. Great water makes great coffee.
The water sinks here to eventually resurge at stoney middleton. The first sink drops a few feet before entering the bedding planes to continue it's journey. Under flood conditions an "air-bell" can be formed, causing a sudden "slap" and a sort of back-draft of water. This could produce the strange sound that you heard?
That's a good suggestion. I was also wondering where the water went, it amazes me how many cave systems are under use in the Peaks. I've just been Lathkill Dale today and the water was pouring out the cave, must be lots of underground caves feeding it.
funny sounds after the 11 mins 30 mark like sound body talking
Lots of funny stuff happened whilst I was there, pretty strange. Ive asked about and doesnt seem to be much of an history about hauntings etc though. Im just hoping it was my mic having issues.
12:40 😂😂😂😂
Would have been fuming if I spilt it then 😅
The lengths we go to for a cup of coffee....😂🤣
Next time I should just go starbucks
