I would dare to say that this fangame is much better than any other undertale fangame that exists and will exist, not only because of SANS-field, but also because the new attacks of the game are really interesting, even the pixelart of the sprites in the animation and art They really are a treat for the eyes.
I’m sure some of the more ambitious ones may be better if their ever finished, but as far as fan games that are just a single battle go, I definitely agree
I’d say this is artistically one of the best Undertale fan games, but in terms of general quality, it’s not completely up there for me. I like how the attacks are much more generous and fair then most other creations, makes it feel way more fun. I personally wouldn’t put this above No More Deals or Last Breath as far as single battles go. However, I will say that this game is far better in the art department then those two that I brought up.

One thing I love about this fan game is that it feels fair. It’s not some 30 minute unfairly difficult “ultimate last breath evil dusttrust sans.exe” fight or something. It genuinely feels like something made with the spirit of creativity and the original game in mind, instead of just making it hard and neglecting all other sides of the experience “just because” which is what so many other Undertale fangames do. Again, the oversaturation of sans-related very hard mega-long fight makes that very noteworthy and I really appreciate how much more of an all-around quality experience this is.
I really love how most Sans copies basically have similar mechanics like the dodge, but for Garfield they decided to kept his lazy character traits and take the hits rather than dodging

6:10 for nermels final smash: nermel uses their claws to repeatedly slash the foe in quick speed flinging them as they are paralyzed while the fling is done meaning a death ecours.
I actually love how nermal is seen in here, i mean i was hoping it wasn't like it showed his name but we didn't fully see him with cutscenes and everything. Lumpy sure gave nermal a big role in here!
@@garbagegaming9831 Bro Jim Davis himself stated he's a boy and it's even on the Garfield wiki. The voice problem also got fixed in "Garfield Gets Real" due to a change of voice actors. And he's just got eyelashes to show that he's younger than the other characters which is something Davis does regularly. Besides that, the game is clearly non-canon dude.
