Great video Jill! Thanks for all the tips and tricks; the finger in between the leg bones is so helpful for single person setup. Your cameraman's angles made it much easier to see the details. Your birds sure look healthy; can you give us details on how many and how big your coop is? I've got five, just making it through their first (COLD) Winter and I want to add to the flock. Not sure how many but I will have a separate brooder for the chicks and can keep them segregated in the run as needed. I use the deep-litter method and there is tons of light in their insulated coop - no heat. Thanks for a great tutorial on wing trimming! Roo is a handsome boy! I think I'm going to get a heritage breed that's unsexed so should end up with one rooster for about 10 hens all together?
@askavettech2057 , what? You want me to be a chicken strip? Only if I'm eaten with ranch dressing! 🤣 Seriously though, that would be kind of cool to be one. 👍
My grandpa had a chicken who hated me. Every visit she Chased me all the way out to a cotton field. So you can trim the feathers and I’ll eat the wings. So chickens.. you can go your own way.. to Jill!! Jill looks like you have a snow drought up there in Mi! Take care, buddy!
Understood. A fat goose at a lake I walk comes after me every time. I’m a bird bite magnet. Mockingbirds dive after me too. Bend over let me see you shake your tail feather. Give me time to escape. I’m cursed, I’ll tell ya. But ain’t mad. Have a good weekend.
Great video! I always wondered how to do that!
Thanks Friend! 😊
This was great! I was just thinking I needed to look up how to do this. Thanks!
Thanks so much! Hope you are doing well!!!
