Abhi bro the video is very helpful. Can u teach me how to model a wing with leading "tubercles", currently I'm doing it for final year project. I need the model for Analysis using ANSYS. I'LL give u dimensions too. Waiting for ur reply bro
Hi Nishanth, Thanks for watching Video. I understood your concern. I can help you with that. But Start modelling it if you are stuck with any modelling difficulty you can ask for my help. It works well this way. Sorry for late reply. Feel free to reply or contact me @ aerocatv5r20@gmail.com
I don't see the reason behind sketching the airfoil section as we are going import the airfoil anyway. Is there any specific reason behind sketching the section first and then using macros for the airfoil?
I have a problem. When I run the Macros, even though I set the first column with the values for the x-coordinate, all the splines appear in the same plane. I even try to put the points in the two first columns and the constant value in the last, but again, it draws me all the airfoils in the same plane. Any thoughts on what could I be doing wrong?
Hi Jorge, 1.Can you please clarify whether Problem you are facing is with the points or the spline.? 2.If spline is the problem, then select points only option while running the Macro. (Spline works fine only when every first and next points are in proper and definite order) Thanks for watching the video. Please feel free to comment...
@@AbhiAerodesigner Thanks for your quick response Abhi. First let me thank you for the video! Highly educative. The splines are generated, I even downloaded the points from the same web as you. But the splines all appears in the same plane, no matter what value I put in the x-coordinate they all are superpositioned. I have used your Excel sheet and the one that comes with Catia itself. The one that comes with Catia came with an example and when I run that example, it does draw the splines in different planes...but when I put the points for the airfoil, all of them appear superpositioned.
@@31221 Hi, Can you please send me the Excel you are using with the points pasted and Screenshot of the Catia V5. aerocatv5r20@gmail.com So that I can help you better. Regards, Abhi
