Having the best and most expensive camera or phone with a camera doesn't automatically make you a good photographer/videographer . It also depends on your skill and knowledge. I recommend reading a few books and taking classes on photography and video making. A few tips: If your equipment doesn't have image stabilization, try using a tripod or selfie stick with a gimbal. If you don't have any of that then try sitting or leaning against something.
Rice does really work. My cousin drop his Samsung J2 Prime (which has a removable back and water can easily enter) i told him to put it on a bag of rice and leave it overnight, surprisingly the phone still works perfectly fine

May not be expensive to one person but can be expensive to another so its all relative and it will also depend on the phone manufacturer, back in the day it was easy peasy to replace batteries because they are removable. Nowadays it costs more to have batteries replaced because they are sealed in. (Also before years ago Apple iPhones cost a shit ton to have its battery replaced, thank god they had that program to replace old batteries because of the throttlegate issue that was brought up)

Typical lifespan of a smartphone is 2-3 years dude. 4 years and beyond is a degraded battery.
