Honestly Beth is pretty underrated. I personally think Lindsay should've of won Action but Beth definitely played an amazing game and nobody gives her credit that her gameplay was what made her be an amazing competitor that everyone overestimates.

She was unlucky to accidentally vote herself but that was honestly her fault for not paying attention to her vote. Beth also was better than Lindsay pre-merge in challenges, but they were about equal after the merge.
EXACTLY. Beth won TWO individual immunities. One of those wins where she literally beat her competition by two days. Had the likes of Lindsay, Harold, Justin and Courtney all as her shields who would go home before her and all probably willing to take her to the end. She turned Harold against Leshawna sending her home, turned against Justin and both lead Courtney on and sent her out. While she lead the charge to send Duncan on multiple occasions, she had her #1 ally Lindsay take all the heat. She never had a vote against her throughout the entire season. Had one of the best social games in TD History. Lastly, she easily should’ve dominated that jury vote against Duncan. Lindsay screwing up her vote for Beth and Owen having to fart up the place which meant Leshawna and Trent couldn’t vote Beth either for Duncan to even stand a chance. Easily the best player this season.
The same thing goes for Owen in TDI, too (Izzy and Lindsay cheat so he could win) Oh yeah, and I agree. Duncan didn't deserve his win in TDA. And he shouldn't have made it higher than Harold; plus, Duncan floated, got carried by Courtney, and bullied Harold, Trent, Bridgette, and more players in TDA.

YEAH I AGREE. The only thing that was a bit annoying about her was how she talked about BRADY ALL THE TIME! She can say it once 2 episodes but otherwise she is my fav TD character.
When Beth secretly devoured the cookies from the care package and said she deserved it for always being nice, I agreed with her 100% 😂 they clowned her for having a boyfriend for goodness sakes.
She was a little annoying with how she talked about Brady non-stop. I think she's a solid winner but she goes against my favorite characters like Courtney, Duncan, Heather, Gwen and Leshawna (all who are in my top 10 of all time).
being 100% real, I think it's more or less a problem with action then anything. Action has a reputation for being the season with a lot of character derailments (infact it's probably second behind All stars). Most of the choices within this season don't make a lot of sense, which is why people make up bullshit rumors about lindsay's VA having a family emergency and not being able to voice act (which is is just stupid if you think about how animation and voice acting take a lot of time and writing is done first in post productions, which would make that impossible unless the VA had a year long family emergency, but short enough to where she could come back at a very specific point at the end.) Seeing beth with all of the other winners side by side is definitely bizzare, especially sense popular characters like Harold, Lindsay, and Cody never got winning endings (endings which they definitely should have gotten in action or world tour.) Beth is a deserving winner, but compared to everyone else who is a fan favorite (with the exception of [maybe] Lightning, Brody, and maybe the cadet duo?), she faces a lot of scrutiny (which isn't even deserved because both Lightning and Brody played worse games, getting carried by circumstance or those around them.) Beth was always a winner I liked, not really as a winner, but as a character. Never really knew why until this video tbh.

To summarise: - presumably had zero votes against her all season since she always got an early gilded Chris - completely dominated challenges in the entire second half of the season (even clean sweeping from the final five onwards) - was able to completely manipulate-, ruin the games of-, or vote out= the three most dangerous threats ahead of her (Leshawna, Justin and Courtney) - played a near perfect game from the merge onwards strategically, and only ever failed to get her targets out when other people screwed things over completely out of her control (i.e. Harold flipping on Leshawna, Lindsay flipping on herself)
PROPS for Beth as a great gameplayer in TDA: 1: Good social game 2: Great skills 3: Well positioned throughout the entire season 4: Wone more challenges for her team & by herself 5: Never receive a vote for the entire season 6: She is smart & has some knowledge (episode 25) 7: She never benefited from luck like other players 8: She made it far by her own merits & skills 9: Never landed in the bottom 2 without making herself a huge target while not making poor decisions, unlike Lindsay 10: Everybody got along with her very well, with the exception of Heather & Courtney
Beth deserves way more respect then she does right now, she actually played really well in TDA and made it to the final 2. She definitely deserved to win, plus she was being truthful about her boyfriend. I think Beth needs WAY more respect

Beth characters development begans nice: From a Heather's mistreated slave in TDI to an amazing, smart, nice, easy-going & heroic underdog plot storyline player for making the finale of TDA. She is my 5th favorite TDA contestant as I can really really relate to her in personality & character. I’m glad Beth’s qualities weren’t slept on. She’s actually quite a good and interesting character who learned to come into her own by having more confidence in herself, be more self reliant, cunning, and realize her biggest strengths. I like to think Beth won canonically. If Duncan won, why would he come back for World Tour, while Beth never made an appearance from here onwards? Plus, the mil at the end of Action didn't have any caveats to it. It didn't get tripled, nor thrown into lava. She played a MASTERFUL game, and none were the wiser. AND She helped Chris and Chef reconcile! She deserved the win. (Yes I understand that Beth was there for the Celebrity Manhunt Special and didn't get into season 3, but I feel she probably doesn't mind that much cause she'd be a million dollar winner in her ending. I think Duncan would jump at the chance to not be in juvie again either way)

Season 3 first episode proofs Beth is the canon winner of Season 2, as it's shown both of her and Lindsay in Paris, which was said by both that's what they'll do with the money if any of them winned. Also Beth was the non participan character that almost got to return to World Tour... until everyone deciced to send Blainley to get rid of her.
She literally goes the entire game without one vote. That goes to show how incredibly dominant her social game was. Even after losing her #1, it's crazy how she overcame the majority between Courtney and Duncan. There is literally no world where Duncan wins a jury vote, it makes no sense especially with the fact Lindsay is unable to vote in both scenarios (since she sneezes on her ballot).
The only reason she made the finale is because Duncan decided to vote off Courtney though. And I feel like at the time Gwen, Courtney, Owen, DJ, Geoff and maybe Heather would all vote for Duncan to win over Beth in a jury vote. I still don't get why in the actual finale DJ voted for Beth when he barely interacted with her but he was friends with Duncan for the entirety of his time on the show.
I GET SO HAPPY SEEING BETH FANS!! I LOVE Beth! She’s so overhated. She was a very smart player (season 2), she was so much nicer than most of the other contestants, and she was an amazing character. If Beth looked like Heather or Courtney, people would've LOVED her. Personally, I hate Courtney, (I started disliking her in season 2, I liked her in season 1), because she was so entitled and whiny, she was so annoying, she was really toxic to Duncan (she literally wrote multiple pages worth of things he has to change about himself if they were ever going to date), she was so bossy too. Just imagine, if Courtney looked like Beth, I bet EVERYONE would've hated her. It's pretty privilege, even though Beth is the one who won a season, not Courtney (which she deserved so much). As much as I would love to see Leshawna reach the finals one, I must agree with you on Beth. She is a great player and though she lacks the charisma of other contestants, Beth has earned that money.
Action overall is an overhated season. I love the theme, the new dynamics, the Lindsay arc, Justin is also a better antagonist than people give him credit for.

Beth beating Heather in two different challenges in Action is such good character development. She has some of the best development out of all the characters in the entire franchise. She is not the same person she was when she first entered in Island.
Notice how all of the clips shown in this video were after Courtney became a contestant. Before that point, the Gaffers won every challenge except one in which one of the Gaffers, Gwen, tried to make them lose by sabotaging their own team, and before that point, the only two eliminations the Gaffers had were from the aforementioned challenge Gwen sabotaged and one where a Gaffer, DJ, quit, even though they won the challenge. Mathematically, if all the challenges were elimination challenges, if Izzy didn't return if DJ didn't quit, and if Courtney didn't become a contestant in the middle of the season, the entire Killer Grips team would have been eliminated by episode 11, the exact episode number in Total Drama World Tour in which the last Team Victory member was eliminated. If we assume all 4 things previously mentioned things except DJ not quitting, as he kind of cheated with his illegal alliance, it would be episode 13 instead, which isn't as bad but still bad. Because of that, it's hard for me to see any of the Grips deserving to win the season (Courtney did make them win challenges but she also became a contestant in the middle of the season instead of the beginning).
That’s true, the Grips were actually just as weak as team victory. The grips had loads of luck on their side but still, I think Beth is the best player in Action.

I don't think people hate Beth being a finalist per say, I think people are just sad that Lindsay was cut short of her run in Action cause I think she did really well along with Beth maybe even better than her. She was supposed to be a finalist over Beth but the voice actor had personal issues to deal with so she had to leave and left the episode Beth was supposed to leave. I would have love to see Lindsay v. Duncan but I am happy with this outcome as well, I think people just brush action under the rug cause of stuff that happened behind the scenes. YES! THANK YOU! I can stay silent no longer. People can like whichever winner they want, Owen cuz he’s funnier than Gwen, Duncan cuz he’s cooler than Beth, Cameron cuz he’s nicer than Lightning. But that doesn’t make them more deserving. Owen, Duncan, and Cameron all become winners through 75% luck and the rest their own irrelevant choices. Meanwhile Gwen, Beth, and Lightning have always fought against the grain, actually won more challenges fairly for their teams, and overcame some big obstacles that could’ve almost gotten them kicked. It’s things like these that make them the bigger underdogs, and I always love rooting for the underdog. (No wonder Sam was confused between cheering for Cam or Lightning cuz they had similar arcs). Duncan was in danger of being voted off more than Beth, but I don’t see him going through half of the turmoil and bad luck that Beth had to go through- and still come up with more impressive strategic moves than him. The only strategic thing Duncan did before Action was form a secret guys alliance that he couldn’t even keep Owen from spilling moments later. Speaking of Owen, the dude caused his team to lose several different times and he gets off scot-free while Gwen (who always plays with integrity) has gotten in the bottom two a couple times in Island. This is of course due to Heather’s vendetta against her, but that’s the kind of obstacle she overcomes that helps me see past the numbers. As for Lightning, the main reason why I would prefer him to win slightly more than Cameron is because his underdog story has bigger stakes than Cameron’s underdog story. Lightning was on the weaker team that only had 2 members left before merge, and it’s impressive to see him and Jo make it so far despite all the back luck and odds against them. Cameron has bad luck too, but only as a character and not as a player. Lightning’s dad didn’t seem to really be an affectionate or attentive father, and he was going to bet his championship rings on his son’s victory. Not that winning could change a father like that, but I can only imagine the chronic self-disappointment Lightning must’ve felt compared to the happy-go-lucky feeling that Cameron received whether he wins OR loses.

After seeing this video, I admit, Beth truly surprised me on how she played such an amazing game in the entire season, even managing to go on par with Duncan. She even managed to eliminate the two main villains of the season (Justin and Courtney) while displaying how much social game she really has. In short, she definitely deserved to win the prize.

Beth is the third-best TD winner in my opinion(gameplay-wise) The best is Cameron and the second best is Gwen but Beth is great socially and doesn’t need any luck/convenience to reach the end

I used to hate her but I rewatched Action and I liked her. I still preferred Duncan though mainly because I thought he was robbed in TDI. Personally, in my way I didn't make her win but she still got far.
I used to think Beth is dramatic, which is my first impression of her. But seeing her potential in TDA made me become a fan of her. She won against Heather in the Million Bucks BC episode and the sports episode. But the episode where Beth stood up to Courtney's bossiness and arrogance, and voted her off made me a fan of her.
Beth’s mega-based and all, but saying Duncan was carried feels a bit too biased, as he does save her from a toilet and helps free her from the ropes, and is a team player throughout premerge. Like I prefer Beth in Action, but he isn’t that meritless to say he was carried all season. Also, she only really controls Courtney for one episode. Next one, Courtney is in control, which she notices and leaves.

She was a little annoying with how she talked about Brady non-stop. I think she's a solid winner but she goes against my favorite characters like Courtney, Duncan, Heather, Gwen and Leshawna (all who are in my top 10 of all time).
She’s cool but sometimes she says things out her mouth like calling Lindsay a Tanorexic
being 100% real, I think it's more or less a problem with action then anything.
Action has a reputation for being the season with a lot of character derailments (infact it's probably second behind All stars).
Most of the choices within this season don't make a lot of sense, which is why people make up bullshit rumors about lindsay's VA having a family emergency and not being able to voice act (which is is just stupid if you think about how animation and voice acting take a lot of time and writing is done first in post productions, which would make that impossible unless the VA had a year long family emergency, but short enough to where she could come back at a very specific point at the end.)
Seeing beth with all of the other winners side by side is definitely bizzare, especially sense popular characters like Harold, Lindsay, and Cody never got winning endings (endings which they definitely should have gotten in action or world tour.)
Beth is a deserving winner, but compared to everyone else who is a fan favorite (with the exception of [maybe] Lightning, Brody, and maybe the cadet duo?), she faces a lot of scrutiny (which isn't even deserved because both Lightning and Brody played worse games, getting carried by circumstance or those around them.)
Beth was always a winner I liked, not really as a winner, but as a character. Never really knew why until this video tbh.

I like to think Beth won canonically. If Duncan won, why would he come back for World Tour, while Beth never made an appearance from here onwards? Plus, the mil at the end of Action didn't have any caveats to it. It didn't get tripled, nor thrown into lava. She played a MASTERFUL game, and none were the wiser. AND She helped Chris and Chef reconcile! She deserved the win. (Yes I understand that Beth was there for the Celebrity Manhunt Special and didn't get into season 3, but I feel she probably doesn't mind that much cause she'd be a million dollar winner in her ending. I think Duncan would jump at the chance to not be in juvie again either way)

In the first season, you could completely identify with Beth's character, but not in the second seson.. luckily she lost the money and had to pay for the damage they caused with lindsey .. Much better characters deserved the victory, but not the loser little Beth who kept talking about her boyfriend each time!
Season 3 first episode proofs Beth is the canon winner of Season 2, as it's shown both of her and Lindsay in Paris, which was said by both that's what they'll do with the money if any of them winned. Also Beth was the non participan character that almost got to return to World Tour... until everyone deciced to send Blainley to get rid of her.

She literally goes the entire game without one vote. That goes to show how incredibly dominant her social game was. Even after losing her #1, it's crazy how she overcame the majority between Courtney and Duncan.
There is literally no world where Duncan wins a jury vote, it makes no sense especially with the fact Lindsay is unable to vote in both scenarios (since she sneezes on her ballot).
The only reason she made the finale is because Duncan decided to vote off Courtney though. And I feel like at the time Gwen, Courtney, Owen, DJ, Geoff and maybe Heather would all vote for Duncan to win over Beth in a jury vote.
I still don't get why in the actual finale DJ voted for Beth when he barely interacted with her but he was friends with Duncan for the entirety of his time on the show.

If Beth looked like Heather or Courtney, people would've LOVED her. Action overall is an overhated season. I love the theme, the new dynamics, the Lindsay arc, Justin is also a better antagonist than people give him credit for.

Beth beating Heather in two different challenges in Action is such good character development. She has some of the best development out of all the characters in the entire franchise. She is not the same person she was when she first entered in Island.
Notice how all of the clips shown in this video were after Courtney became a contestant. Before that point, the Gaffers won every challenge except one in which one of the Gaffers, Gwen, tried to make them lose by sabotaging their own team, and before that point, the only two eliminations the Gaffers had were from the aforementioned challenge Gwen sabotaged and one where a Gaffer, DJ, quit, even though they won the challenge. Mathematically, if all the challenges were elimination challenges, if Izzy didn't return if DJ didn't quit, and if Courtney didn't become a contestant in the middle of the season, the entire Killer Grips team would have been eliminated by episode 11, the exact episode number in Total Drama World Tour in which the last Team Victory member was eliminated. If we assume all 4 things previously mentioned things except DJ not quitting, as he kind of cheated with his illegal alliance, it would be episode 13 instead, which isn't as bad but still bad. Because of that, it's hard for me to see any of the Grips deserving to win the season (Courtney did make them win challenges but she also became a contestant in the middle of the season instead of the beginning).
That’s true, the Grips were actually just as weak as team victory. The grips had loads of luck on their side but still, I think Beth is the best player in Action.

If I had a nickel for every consecutive episode the challenge in action involved two contestants fighting, and Duncan and Courtney fought a fight and Courtney won, and Beth and Heather fought a fight and Beth won, I would have two nickels.
Beth was quite good at the game in TDA. In fact, I think she is the only person that season who didn’t have major holes in her game.
Though i think in episode 19 she turns on Justin a bit too early but despite that Beth is easily the best TDA player.

Izzy, Heather, Leshawna, Owen and ESPECIALLY Courtney all had very questionable social games
Justin was easily manipulated into elimination
Lindsay and Duncan both had points where they were about to be voted out and just lucked out by others voting themselves off
Harold wasn’t good at being strategic at all since he made the wrong vote choice multiple times and didn’t tell anyone about Owen betraying them
So if this was an actual reality show without all these contrivances, Beth would’ve easily won the season. Even in the jury vote the majority wanted her to win, but multiple votes for her didn’t count(Leshawna and Trent fainted, Lindsay blew her nose instead of voting) all of whom would’ve voted Beth over Duncan for sure
Not many people actually see how important social game is to a game like this, but it’s honestly the most important aspect because you’re pretty much never gonna get targeted. ‘Strategists’ with bad social games lose to good social gamers without strategy in my player rankings(Beth isn’t even bad strategically, she’s mediocre rather than bad I’d say) because you’re just gonna get votes if you have a bad social game and even if you know how to get out of situations like this, it can still work against you.

I don't think people hate Beth being a finalist per say, I think people are just sad that Lindsay was cut short of her run in Action cause I think she did really well along with Beth maybe even better than her. She was supposed to be a finalist over Beth but the voice actor had personal issues to deal with so she had to leave and left the episode Beth was supposed to leave. I would have love to see Lindsay v. Duncan but I am happy with this outcome as well, I think people just brush action under the rug cause of stuff that happened behind the scenes.

YES! THANK YOU! I can stay silent no longer. People can like whichever winner they want, Owen cuz he’s funnier than Gwen, Duncan cuz he’s cooler than Beth, Cameron cuz he’s nicer than Lightning. But that doesn’t make them more deserving.
Owen, Duncan, and Cameron all become winners through 75% luck and the rest their own irrelevant choices.
Meanwhile Gwen, Beth, and Lightning have always fought against the grain, actually won more challenges fairly for their teams, and overcame some big obstacles that could’ve almost gotten them kicked. It’s things like these that make them the bigger underdogs, and I always love rooting for the underdog. (No wonder Sam was confused between cheering for Cam or Lightning cuz they had similar arcs).
Duncan was in danger of being voted off more than Beth, but I don’t see him going through half of the turmoil and bad luck that Beth had to go through- and still come up with more impressive strategic moves than him. The only strategic thing Duncan did before Action was form a secret guys alliance that he couldn’t even keep Owen from spilling moments later.
Speaking of Owen, the dude caused his team to lose several different times and he gets off scot-free while Gwen (who always plays with integrity) has gotten in the bottom two a couple times in Island. This is of course due to Heather’s vendetta against her, but that’s the kind of obstacle she overcomes that helps me see past the numbers.
As for Lightning, the main reason why I would prefer him to win slightly more than Cameron is because his underdog story has bigger stakes than Cameron’s underdog story. Lightning was on the weaker team that only had 2 members left before merge, and it’s impressive to see him and Jo make it so far despite all the back luck and odds against them. Cameron has bad luck too, but only as a character and not as a player. Lightning’s dad didn’t seem to really be an affectionate or attentive father, and he was going to bet his championship rings on his son’s victory. Not that winning could change a father like that, but I can only imagine the chronic self-disappointment Lightning must’ve felt compared to the happy-go-lucky feeling that Cameron received whether he wins OR loses.
In island Duncan was one of the best players actually, but definitely not in any other season.

Beth did NOT eliminate Justin or Courtney, Justin was eliminated because of Courtney and Courtney was eliminated because both Duncan and Beth decided to vote her off

I don’t mind Beth as a finalist. I would have preferred Harold vs Duncan or Lindsay vs Duncan. But Beth isn’t bad but it feels weird as her as finalist. It does make an interesting dynamic of the action finalist. The Nerdy Good girl vs the Cool Bad boy.

In the first season, you could completely identify with Beth's character, but not in the second seson.. luckily she lost the money and had to pay for the damage they caused with lindsey .. Much better characters deserved the victory, but not the loser little Beth who kept talking about her boyfriend each time!

I used to hate her but I rewatched Action and I liked her. I still preferred Duncan though mainly because I thought he was robbed in TDI. Personally, in my way I didn't make her win but she still got far.

I used to think Beth is dramatic, which is my first impression of her. But seeing her potential in TDA made me become a fan of her. She won against Heather in the Million Bucks BC episode and the sports episode. But the episode where Beth stood up to Courtney's bossiness and arrogance, and voted her off made me a fan of her.

Even though I’d love a Duncan m can Harold finale, Beth was a strong character, I just like Harold more.
Beth’s mega-based and all, but saying Duncan was carried feels a bit too biased, as he does save her from a toilet and helps free her from the ropes, and is a team player throughout premerge. Like I prefer Beth in Action, but he isn’t that meritless to say he was carried all season.
Also, she only really controls Courtney for one episode. Next one, Courtney is in control, which she notices and leaves.
