Watching the description, I'm thinking of what to write so as not to spoil my impression during the reaction to Eden Golan with the song "Hurricane". This year, Israel chose this song for Eurovision 2024, but on the second attempt. Due to numerous complaints and Arab propaganda in Europe, the EBU tried to appease them and disqualify the first song, "October Rain," for its political undertones.
Interestingly, for the EBU at Eurovision, terms like "plagiarism" and "political undertones" work very selectively. As much as someone needs it. At such moments, I really stop believing in the transparency of any decisions and Eurovision results in general.
