Captain Tom Moore raises over £1m for the NHS Charities Together after appearing on BBC Breakfast

- When he appeared on BBC Breakfast World War Two veteran Captain Tom Moore had raised just over £1,000 for the NHS. Since then he's received messages from around the globe. On April 14th his fundraising page reached over £1,000,000!

I just hope and pray that the money goes to where its suppose to go. How much will the tax/government take? Sorry to put a damper on it but dont trust the government. Isnt it a crying shame that this veteran had to do something like this for the NHS because our greedy, stupid, no clue government cannot supply whats needed to hospitals in this century? Unbelieveable! He fought for this country as like many elderly in the care homes. The government should be going all out to make sure they get what they need, Now hes 'fighting' again for this countrys NHS! WHERE ARE ALL THE CELEBRITIES WITH TONS OF MONEY? WHY HAVENT THEY RALLIED TOGETHER AND PUT SOME OF THEIR MONEY IN THE POT FOR THE NHS? They have money for war and vaccines that can kill people though....Your a diamond Captain Moore.
