    The crucial year 1997 Hong Kong returned back to PRC and triggered off The Asia Financial Crisis(AFC) with the appearance of our Malay President on the dollar notes..Majulah Singapura!

    The ugliest banks notes in Singapore, is this current piece we are using. Yet it is becoming longest used design. Can't understand what sort of human being we have in the currency board.

      Sometimes I wish they start putting other faces on different banknotes like in other countries. I really don't know why they want to copy Malaysia and just put the face of the 1st president throughout the entire series.
      No problem with Yusof bin Ishak, but I think we can put many other people like Sang Nila Utama, Stanford Raffles, Benjamin Sheares, Lim Bo Seng, and other pioneers who contributed to the history of Singapore.
