Defensively Mitch will have a major impact if healthy come the playoffs. Hukporti and Mitch should share the future 5 duties sending Kat to his natural position at the 4
I think you are over hyping Mitch. He is a great offensive rebounder, lob threat and a great shot blocker, but if you have watched the Knicks...I mean really watched them you would know Mitch plays even deeper drop coverage on pick and rolls. So we will see more open threes. He will help defend the paint I agree, but having Kat who isnt a great defender, Bruson who isnt a great defender, Hart who continues to miss assignments and make bone head plays on defense, now you add Mitch who isnt mobile coming out to defend and you put all that into the starting five your gonna have issues. I just dont see him being the missing piece. Last year having Vincenzo guard faster players was essential, having Hartenstein anchor the defense was crucial. Wing stop can only do so much. We need a quick defensive guard in the starting lineup. Problem with that you lose rebounding from Hart. Not a perfect roster by any stretch. That being said I hope I am wrong and it all comes together and they go on a nice run. Lets see.
If they keep him out until it’s enough time for him, KAT and the team to adjust before the playoffs I’d prefer that. Rather not risk him getting hurt before the playoffs
To be honest no team plays defense these days., That's why the scores are so high. The same scores you get when you play a video game against yourself. Plus DF is hard these days., You put a finger on somebody and they blowing the whistle. Today's game is nothing but a three-point shooting contest with no defense.
Mitch and KAT are gonna punish the league! Precious and KAT will be dangerous too! Interestingly enough I wish they’d try the pairing of him and Jericho! Personally Hart is the man but he’s too small when other teams play big!!
@@Antsanc82 I’d say Mitch, Hukporti, then Achiuwa (if necessary only). - With Achiuwa helping normally with the rotation from position 4 as well. Due to all respect to Sims, but he should play only during the garbage time.
Mitch got too fat bro… can’t put any faith in his return. The way we’re set up now contractually we’d be better off dealing him for a legit second unit player and giving that role to Huk.
Let’s trade this bum what are you seeing what about offense scoring let’s talk about he got good in free throws ?? You come up with bs Mitch is a bum the Knicks don’t want him you do
Joel Embid is the reason why Mitchell Robinson is out...
THIS‼️‼️‼️ it should be brought up every time it’s talked about.
Exactly! No way Embid shouldn’t have caught an elbow to the gut in that game against the Sixers
Absolutely 💯
@@treetop1283if this was the 90s he would have 😂
I mentioned that Embiid made the injury way worse
No, Joel Embidd injured Mitch by pulling on his leg
Mitch was already injured, Embiid made it far worse
Bro everyone plays thru injuries Embiid hurt him on purpose he threw himself on his ankles and dragged his weight all over them
RIGHT AZ RAIN!!!!!!!!!

Mitch and Big Purr are gonna be a deadly Duo
DAMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN GIVE MY TEAM A CHANCE, LET IT PLAY OUT, WHATEVER IS GOING TO BE WILL BE!!!!!!!!!!!!
You talking rim protection our problem is 3 pointers
3s and at the rim.
The 3s will be fixed

Mitch dominated the Cavs because he played with Randle who the Cavs had nothing for
There's no way to make sense of relying on Mitch's return, given his atrocious injury history. So delusional.
Hold up embid injured him last year in the playoffs if he didn't grab his leg he wouldn't have been injured again
Nah he was playing on the injury, it was way worse after embiid grabbed his leg though. You can see him limping in game 1
You're bashing again. Sims is NUMBER ONE IN RIM PROTECTION IN THE LEAGUE!!!
That dude will never be #1 in the National Basketball Association. Ever.
I literally mention that in the video lol
@@knicksdigest I know, and yet you still bashed him. What's he gotta do? lol
I think some combination of Robinson, Sims and hukporti splitting the minutes, could actually work
I’d say Mitch, Hukporti, then Simms. (Defense a priority in this order)

U said sims was doing a great job wtf
at protecting the rim according to opponent FG%

Knicks need a younger centerr with fresher and younger legs, knicks need to try and move off of him
Robinson’s only 26
BS Mitch is aBench player and not our defensive savior.
He’s not going to be a big help he can’t score or shoot a free throw
Over hyped
Watching Mitchell Robinson is me looking at Larry Robinson for the knicks, they never hethy and if they wanna win they need to rekease him.
Salute Chris
