As a former dancer myself i can only imagine the amount of bravery she had to do this, when it is prohibited no less!
Same! I’m currently still dancing and public performances are hard enough when it isn’t illegal
Nilou haters: She has no personality.
@@emberya9561 Not a Nilou hater, but also not a big fan, i dunno she feels kinda off...her whole personality is dancin, great character to admire the beauty but not as great to admire as characters like Itto or Beidou.
@@yayamiki exactly. I love her but her ENTIRE personality is just being a dancer
@@servantbee. her entire personality isn't just being a dancer :( It's literally passion for the art. I don't know if non dancers can relate to this so it makes sense not to really connect but the passion we have for this art, beauty in movement, the way it unites us and moves us and how it can move others. It's a tremendous thing. I think she's really *for* dancers cause, to us, she represents something huge. It's ok if you don't really like her much if you're not a dancer, but saying her entire personality is *just* being one feels like such a superficial reading 😅
something that made me laugh is the initial reaction of the guards "should we like stop her" 😂 also them just not moving and instead just watching cause they actually like the performance. Nilou best girl, she got lots of fans even by people who were supposed to arrest her/stop her 🥺
"Nah...let her cook"
This whole archon quest was so cool, the plan seemed so smart and really tense bc nobody knew how it would turn out. Everyone pitching in their part to save nahida, it's so cool to do this quest i love it so much. Not just that, but saving dunyarzad as well, we had no idea if she would live or not
Wait a minute..... at 1:47, you can see Setaria standing and clapping for her dance. But later on, she says she wishes she could see one of her performances.
Great observation! I can only think that when Setaria said that in the aftermath of the quest, she meant one of Nilou's official performances at the Zubayr Theater
I think it's not Setaria, just NPC with similliar model. If I not mistaken, Setaria has more dark skin then woman in the cutscene
@@NotTheClownButTheEntireCircus It could just be the lighting, the model looks WAY too similar and has the same exact outfit for me to just say it was pure coincidence. Someone had to put that in.
@@UBvtuber Yeah, I was thinking about it too, but I guess, we will never know the answer
@@UBvtuber Well, Setaria had a generic NPC look save for her dark skin, so it could be the exact model. You can find Setaria lookalikes even in Inazuma.
This scene gave me goosebumps especially when the text on the akasha appeared
exactly. that's when I realize how Sumeru Archon quest is so damn well writen.
PLEASE READ!!!!! As someone who is Persian, I felt nilou’s sigh of relief when the guards ran past her. Sumeru is based on Iran’s history, culture, and political situation. In Iran, dancing and singing, is prohibited in public. And if they are seen in public, doing these prohibited activities, they will be arrested. So what she did, and her sigh of relief have a much deeper meaning to people who have have been brave in protesting against these unjust laws (in Iran). I don’t know if anyone here is active in global politics, but what happened in this new arc of the game is very similar to what is happening in Iran right now (for the past 55 days and still going). People in Iran are fighting for their freedom to get the revolution against the Mullahs. One of the methods people are protesting in the streets is by dancing and singing without wearing their hijabs (and chanting woman, life, freedom). I made a whole interpretation and analysis “thesis” on google docs where I go in depth on sumeru and the current situation in Iran, and what the different aspects of the game (akasha, sages, akadaymia, desert dwellers, dendro archon) Represent in real life Sumeru (aka Iran) so I please URGE YOU TO READ because if I can make you aware based on a game you will realize how important it is for this revolution to be successful for everyone in the world. If you have any questions please comment me and I’ll gladding explain more (if I can spread more awareness I know it will help save lives) here is the link to the google docs I’m sure it will be a very interesting read and you will be very surprised: docs.google.com/document/d/1QXIqotT8QIT6wYX7cpJZLLq8rfa_GFZfzUIIa1kFolo/edit
Yes!! Finally someone understands just how brave Nilou truly is, people kept calling her useless but what she did here must of took so much bravery
same i was also scared if nilou was going to get arrested because I'm persian myself and I know there are lots of things that women and girls aren't allowed to do in countries like Afgahnistan (I'm afghani) and Iran compared to how boys get treated in those countries, like not being able to go to school or being seen in public for too long, or having your hijab off on accident or on purpose. i was holding my breath when the guards came rushing forward, and when they let her go I was so relieved that us Persian and Arabic women were not violated in a game.
If the counter revolution "revolution" is successful, Iran will just end up like Iraq or Libya, a complete hellscape run over by rival gangs, tribes and terrorist organizations.
Your true enemies aren't the Mullahs, yes, the fact that the young lady died in moral police custody is reprehensible and should prompt an investigation to figure out how this could've happened to prevent it in the future and even perhaps a re-structuring of the moral police. But it shouldn't warrant a wholesale replacement of the system. The enforcement of morality might be a bit stringent and lopsided too.
However, I also understand why your revolution will not succeed and why it has so many opponents within the nation, you are threatening the entire system, and those older with knowledge and memories of all those horrible years under the shah and European colonialization, and those who witness the west's relentless assault on the entire region, remember why the revolution happened and why it was important. many see your fight against the corruption as an attack against Islam itself, hence why so many oppose it. Feminism is not the solution against the corruption.
I agree that the system needs reform, and many governmental instruments need to be tweaked and re-calibrated, but overall, the system of government is important and necessary and the only thing in between US interests raping Iran for all of its oil and leaving it nothing more than an empty husk like colony, overflooded with cultural brainwashing to murder Iranian identity until it is just another lobotomized nation or some war-torn desert.
The Iran Nuclear deal and removal of sanctions and normalization of relations is what is the true issue, however Iran giving up its entire identity and morals, becoming a puppet is not worth it.
Sacrifice is hard and painful, but it is the only thing that gives a people any semblance of dignity. attacking your house from inside at the indirect behest of enemies outside is bad for the entire structure, and hence why you aren't seeing much success.
your true issue isn't with the system, it is with the death of this one individual in this one case, so instead of using a shotgun to shoot everything focus on the things that matter, like getting an investigation and some reforms to those responsible, not the very fabric of Iranian identity itself.
Read up on Iranian history and the history of colonialism and all the things that were done to the Middle East, and how most of the world is under the hegemonic power of the West.
Personally, I think all the issues Iran has would be fixed, if the US simply gave up on the sanctions and normalized relations, like Obama was going to before Trump vetoed everything and Biden now under the Israeli lobby, refuses to do anything.
And All of the Middle East's problems would be solved if Israel stopped existing, and all the nations were able to unite back under a single Caliphate.
During Trump Iran should've played along with Trump and let him redo the deal but used better negotiating skills to get an even better deal like Canada and Mexico did with NAFTA 2.0
and regarding Biden, if he is willing, perhaps giving in this once and lowering the refinement would be good to give him no excuses for backing out, maybe do some international level junket or get some high-ranking representative to go on US media to shame Biden into rejoining, since US elections are so close, perhaps lowering refinement wouldn't be the best right now.
You Must remember, Iran doesn't exist in a vacuum, there are wolves at the door, and you stabbing the only person standing between them and you, even if said person is gruff, rough and strict, it's equal to death.
without the Revolutionary guards and the Iranian government, Iran will fall and be no better than Iraq. just go look at all those sad Libyans now so sad that they opposed Gaddafi and ruined their country to the point that now they have open slave markets selling their kids and families.
the USA does NOT care about Iranian women, nor does Europe, it all just an excuse for their politics. All of it is politics, and sadly you are being used as pawns to cause instability and weaken the only thing keeping you from the wolves. and once Iran dies and the others rip into its corpse, it will be too late for you to regret having played a part in murdering it.
perhaps you would have more success if used Islam to fight against the corruption instead of using feminism to fight Islam. maybe that is something to think about. your goal to improve conditions ought to be to reduce the number of opponents you have and to gain allies, attacking Islam, Modesty and Islamic values will not win you any new friends, only the false friendship of those who plan to stab you in the back when you aren't careful. be smart about the change, protests aren't always helpful and knowing how to get change from inside the system instead of trying to bash it from the outside is often times more helpful.
Personally, I am not in a position to comment on the conditions of Iran, but I also find that several aspects of the story parallel the conditions in China, where Mihoyo (aka hoyoverse) is based, such as the Sakoku Decree, which reflects not only the actual historical event with the same name in Japan, but also the current state of lockdown in China due to COVID as well as other potential political reasons. Even between the current lockdown and the IRL Sakoku Decree, there are similarities too - perhaps it may be a case of history repeating itself?
Either way, the parallels appear to be more than a coincidence; as such, I have a working theory that Mihoyo is sneaking elements of IRL struggles, politics, and suffering of different nations into their stories; this topic has provided ample food for thought, and I was wondering if there were others out there who have thought of similar ideas. Thank you for your insight, and I wish all the best to everyone who is fighting for their rights, no matter where.
@@Piikaachuu1203 I personally believe that the rioters in Iran are misguided.
they ought not to try overthrow the government, because they will then end up like all their neighbors who did the same, also its exactly what Saudi ( MBS ) and Israel want.
Honestly I’m surprised no one really talks about this cutscene at all. I haven’t bothered to do Sumeru story that much yet bcuz I’m lazy but I’ve never heard anybody ever mention this cutscene.
Which is weird considering how important this scene is plotwise
Da Wei really is the best girl with those dance moves. From Ayaka now to Nilou
That must have taken shit tone of courage considering she isn't a badass like everyone else in the squad
Best girl being best girl.
Now imagine if Jason Derulo was there instead of Nilou.
JAAAAAAAAASOOOON DERULOOOOOOO
@@UBvtuber the sages would be wiggling
MMMMMM WHAT CHA SAY
jason denilou
@@mazeditsvsf 😂😂😂
Appreciate you bro
It was probably awkward as fuck to just start dancing from nowhere, and to no music nevertheless.
I believe Nahida started playing Nilou's theme on everyone's Akashas so it didn't feel weird lol

What to worry, those milelith wont do anything to her 99999 hp
i swear i can hear venti when they start clapping
I saw this dance for the first time last night and I was taking screenshots like nonstop. So beautiful… Nilou really earned herself some points. Might even pull for her….
It’s a coincidence this exact dance popped up now lol
Honestly I would recommend everyone to pull Nilou. Nilou Bloom is by far one of the best teams in Genshin (you can check my Go Boom with Bloom playlist to see my Nilou Bloom team in action against every boss). And she's a very adorable character!
@@shivendoesstuff I’ll check it out! :D I’ve already heard how good her bloom teams are, just never really paid attention to it because I usually use anemo. Might be fun to try out something else for once :P
That was one amazing choreography. It could have been a lot longer ❤
this one have tunes from santury of surastana ost. I noticed now
還是覺得~雲南(楊麗萍)的孔雀舞!
最適合妮露!~尤其須彌還有那隻綠孔雀,周本!❤👍
she needs more hip shaking but this is still cute
what- hip shaking???
🤨

*rock eye*
Nilou's dance is a persian dance. NOT bellydancing
